Pre-Disney SWEU did mentioned padding and such for the clonetrooper helmets but the wording was asscoveringly vague. Since that era assumed the audience (viewer, reader, gamer and/or etc.) already known helmets and body armor will have such as a matter of course. Any mentions were akin to flavor text as such and such (clonetrooper) helmet is replaced for a newer more comfortable to wear model.

Isn't the entire point of the original trilogies that it's been peace for 1000 years or some shit? Is this just more back story, or more just adding shit to make sure nothing makes any sense and everyone is an idiot. So Yoda will be all confused about the Sith coming back. EVven though a 100 years before he was involved with them,

Maybe get Beamdog to do it next time? They're a subsidiary o Aspyr and have made Neverwinter Nights look great! Seems to me they should've put that same talent to work on Battlefront somehow.

Yes and no. It was him selling out when he sold it, but if he didn't, people would still be demonizing him over the Prequels and why he doesn't just let other people make SW movies. It took TLJ to show us why SW movies without Lucas was a bad idea without the SWEU.

Gina's character in Mando headbutted Mando and disoriented him. And I'm fairly certain Beskar is a hell of a lot tougher than what Stormtroopers are issued.

@LORD IMPERATOR people basically did a complete 180 on the prequels during Filoni Wars, because it was obvious George didn't have his hands all over it like he did the films. And we all know how little of a fuck Filoni Wars gave about the PT in favor of glorified FanFic with established characters to prop up OC like Ahsoka and Wolf Clones and throwaways like Plo.

But I thought the Acolyte wasn't real, that's what someone in a helmet on youtube told me...

The problem with a trailer like that is that there's nothing new or original. It's more just, "doing the Star Wars." There's no point to it. "oooo they slide back, like in all those other things..."

It doesn't actually matter how hard Beskar is, especially since it's mainly a defense against energy weapons as opposed to blunt force. In fact, if its hard enough, the force from the blow will transfer efficiently (no bending/crumple zone to dissipate it) onto the skull of whoever inside it.
