The judge looked at multiple filings and a completely absentee plaintiff and took the route of making it someone else's problem, including all pending motions.
Hell, can't blame the judge for taking any opportunity to get that slurping retard out of his court... Too bad he didn't just dismiss it with prejudice, with the added bonus of declaring Greer a vexation litigant, but I guess that can be on the wish list for the court in Florida...

You know, I get the feeling the judge didn't appreciate just being ignored by Russell.

what does this mean for outstanding court orders and deadlines (that russ has breached)
do they all remain intact when the case moves to florida? or do they all disappear and everything has to be done from scratch again in front of the new court?

yes. Everything is exactly as it was, but somewhere else.
so he is still in breach of multiple court orders that told him "file X document by Y date"
how long does it generally take for the new court to catch up and continue proceedings when cases are transferred like this? can we expect the case to move forward soon or are we looking at months of nothing happening?

I can see everyone else enjoyed this line as much as I did. This magistrate judge may just have a sense of humor!

I'm a layman, but this seems to imply that the change in venue wouldn't have been so simple if the defendant had actually been corrected earlier right? There would have been a snag with Lolcow LLC being registered in a different state I imagine. If the Northern District of Florida ends up being the best place for the suit, this is another all time classic punchline from Russ. Remarkable!

1. Should Russ need to appear he is going to have to take the Bus to Florida
2. If this goes to trial the jury will be composed of 12 Florida men, who don't have the weird Mormon love for the deformed.
If Russ has to go to Florida, he's going to get arrested for solicitation the night before he has to be in court.

Wonder if he's going to try fundraising? I'd have to think his long-suffering parents have washed their hands of his legal antics by this point.

Seems if they had corrected the defendants then it could have been moved to Wyoming(originally) or West Virginia. Where Lolcow was/is incorporated.
