OH BOY!

Apparently it's a game where you're a dog that works as a recruiter of a temp agency and you have to filter through the list of applicants to find the best fit for your clients posting a job. You might be wondering why a dog would be put to this task, but it turns out that in this game's universe, every human is retarded.

I would have a fucking conniption hearing a request like that, I'll bet the last recruiter threw a file cabinet at the clients. No wonder they put the dog in charge.

I tried seeing what platform this game is on because it looks like it could be played on a Gameboy Pocket, but what really threw me off is that it's made for some new type of children's handheld console called 'Playdate' made by the very appropriately named Panic Inc. company. Surely kids are going to go nuts over a game where you work for a temp agency counting the days until you can end it all. It's pretty much a Gameboy pocket with a 50fps screen, a D-pad, two buttons and....a hand crank?



Gotta be real here, that's a new one. And that's not all, there are over 150 games for this thing!!! There's:
-A SimCity type of game where the title's acronym spells MDMA (Link)
-One where you have to pour perfect level pints of root beer for a bunch of snobby ass IPA bears. (Link)
-A fishing game that SOMEHOW screws up the concept of the hand crank (Link)
-A game for Bossmanjack (Link)
-Pokemon meets Ghostbusters on LSD (Link)

Thank god. I'm tired of hearing Signalis all over my fucking feed when the only thing popular about (which can be applied to Gundam: Witch of Mercury, Lycoris Recoil and especially VA-11 Hall-A) is the lesbian relationships. In an ideal world, LGBT couples would have been reduced to 0 but these games instead give these freaks an outlet to shit out their fetishes. Plus, if I wanted an eldritch-themed game, there is Eternal Darkness, Darkest Dungeon and Bloodborne while cyborg-themed games has the legendary OG Deus Ex (Human Revolutions and Mankind Divided if you generally want more or you are lax with standards).

Why would I pirate woke products? Pirating God of War Ragnarok won't magically turn Angrboda into a white person.

I just realized that GoWR releasing on Steam and getting a mod for a white Angrboda is a inevitability. Whoever makes it will become a folk hero.

I meant in regards to budget and not listening to trannies. Baldur's Gate 3 is a good looking game and plays well and it was made on a very small and tight budget compared to AAA games. Also, Larian genuinely listened to feedback by gamers in regards to improving the game instead of listening to jornoscum like most AAA studios do. Meanwhile the devs of Hogwarts Legacy didn't bend the knee to the trannies by denouncing J.K Rowling like other Western devs would. As someone who has noticed many devs for table tops denounce writers like Tolkien and Lovecraft because of "racism" and whatever it was nice to see a group of devs defend the creator of a property and not grovel before a bunch of dickless communists in drag.

This is true.
Despite the degeneracy, BG3 is a good game (even great with the no-alphabet and better aesthetics mods). And even so, my blackface paladin can still go around murdering ugly people and the game lets me do it (unlike, say, a turd like Starfield).
Its such a damn shame D&D became a refuge for the mentally ill, the price of not gatekeeping I guess.

I think the Harry Potter universe is lame as hell but the success of HL was a great L for the bad guys.

I still don't get how everyone is saying "infinite money" means that people aren't just going to inevitably opt out. Good, they are starting to get scared now. I know that there is way too many DEI Consultancy companies out there but Bud Light prove that you just need to take one scalp and that sends a message to the others. Remember how after the Bud Light controversy last years Pride Month was quiet with many companies not acknowledging Pride like they usually do? Playdate is familiar, but unlike anything you've ever seen. It has a very special black and white screen – not backlit, but super reflective – that looks way more amazing than you're probably imagining.

GDC, major studios, consulting firms — they’re all infested with primarily business people these days. It’s all just investors and those looking for more investors. To them, the product literally does not matter at all, what matters is that it’s something a lot of people are spending a lot of money on. So now there’s thousands of bullshit tools and services and committees and consultants available that try to latch on to games like a parasite. They quite literally do not give a shit about gaming, for fun or as an art form, and see it as a target to siphon funds from since they have zero productive talents themselves. I even had a conversation with a guy at a booth today about how programmers don’t even come to these things anymore.

Anyways, if any of you fellow spergs are also at GDC, I’m the person without the retarded pronoun ribbons.
