I no longer use peoples art with out permission. there's a TONE of free refrences on pintrest, etc, why would I need to take non free ones now?

I never sold their works, I never even traced it, I just used them as a base idea and learned from it. Hell Shizue from the Naruto fandom did the same thing and look at Mari Mari maru now , she has her own style, if SHIZUE BLUE POWER can be redeemed why cant I?
