Dragon's Dogma

Release game, less then 12 hours have to write up a apology about it.

I'm apparently in the fortunate minority to get really consistent frames, although it still hovers around 80 for me, which is fairly lower than usual.

I've heard complaints that the overworld is apparently reused, but as somebody who played the first game recently, I don't really notice it. Same goes for the "woke" thing about every other character being some minority. After a few hours, there's not many token characters to the point it stands out to me.

Gameplay wise, yes, the combat is pretty much identical to the first, but that was easily the highlight of the first game anyway. So far I don't really have many complaints about the game, but I'm only a handful of hours into it.
Let us know about your fps in towns. Apparently no CPU can stay above 60 there.

micro-transactions are all shit you can get in game so who cares.
This is a terrible attitude to take. Just because you can obtain something in game, doesn't mean it's feasible for the average gamer. All it really means is that the developers are incentivized to put roadblocks into the game design in order to steer the player towards buying the "convenience options."

For example, let's say you have a game with an EXP system, but there's also a "totally optional" EXP booster for just a low payment of $2.99. The developers would then be incentivized to make the game as much of a grind-heavy slog as possible in order to push customers towards buying the hand-outs. You're intentionally shitting up your game design in order to shake down people for more cash.

But hey: who cares as long as you can theoretically obtain that shit in the game right? Who cares that it'll take two fucking months grinding out the repetitive tasks in order to be able to move on to the thing you really want to do, right?

If you don't believe me, then consider these quotes from the article posted on the same page as you:
We've only been able to find two Art of Metamorphosis tomes for sale at a single NPC's shop despite finishing the game, for example, which suggests that there may be a limit on the number of times you can change your appearance unless you're prepared to fork over some cheddar.
These port crystals in particular are incredibly rare in-game. I only found a couple in my initial playthrough, and a third on my second.
This is how they trick you into thinking this shit is acceptable, when in fact nobody should accept this, ever.

Yeah, disappointing situation. Well, I wanted to replay DDDA anyways to get all the achievements. And there is some sort of DDO restoration project going on which I wanted to check out. Maybe in a couple of months, a year or two this game will be in a better technical state, and we will have some sort of expansion with ALL THE MISSING VOCATIONS.

PS: If someone excuses MTX, performance issues and so on, that person is a retarded faggot. Please stop sucking so much of that AAA cock.

Disappointed with Capcom. I am sure they censored or put slightly woke stuff besides fucking with customer.

This is exactly what happens in GTA Online. The coolest vehicles and houses are expensive as fuck, and you CAN get them without paying a single real cent... after grinding for tens of hours, OR you can buy a shark card!

Jesus christ, every time I check the community there is some new apocalyptic problem with the game I'm enjoying perfectly fine.

As someone who was expecting to recognize my favorite locations from the first game, i can say with certainly none of the areas are reused.

I'm pretty sure the reason FPS is so bad in towns is because most of the little items have physics attached. Its nice if you want to cast big spells and see shit go flying, but I guarantee having every candle and barrel you walk into explode isnt doing the framerate any favors

Requiring DLC to make new characters in singleplayer is insanity, then adding extra pay to win elements on top of that. This may be the lowest of lows for DLCs I've ever seen.

Total game developer death.
Most jewish thing i've seen yet regarding modern gaming. Seriously, is there even anything comparable to this money-grubbing scheme? Pure insanity indeed.

Honestly no, maybe I'm missing a game but as far as I know this is the first instance of creating a new character being a premium paid feature, at least in a single player game because chinky pay to win MMOs do this shit all the time.
