RIA news agency said at least three people in camouflage clothing had opened fire at the Crocus City Hall, and that some people had been wounded.

Police had arrived at the scene, RIA said.

Video footage published on Russian social media channels showed chaotic scenes, with a large crowd of concertgoers attempting to flee the hall, followed by gunshots.

Other video footage showed a number of people lying motionless in pools of blood outside the hall

Reuters was unable immediately to verify the footage.

TASS news agency reported an explosion and a fire in the building where the shooting took place.

The Kommersant newspaper posted footage online showing smoke billowing from what it said was the concert venue building.

Truthfully I don't think Ukraine is behind this, this action is indefensible by anyone and would be public relations suicide for anyone even slightly involved. I'm betting on Islamic Extremists more than anyone, reminds me of that one ISIS attack in France.

but I believe I recall a drone attack hitting a government building in Moscow.
A few drones hit the kremlin i think, but all they did was knock down the flag.

What's with the amount of sparks coming from their guns? It seems unusually high. Shitty homemade rounds? +p? rifles don't look cut down.
I saw this being asked on 4chan as well.

From what I can tell from Hamas videos, guns fired at night create a fiery explosion with each round.

I take that back. Someone is claiming one of the shooters was arrested.

The first account is some street shitter and the other describes itself as "Unbiased news from around the world" so take this with a lot of salt.

Death toll is being reported at 40, 100 injured.

No telling yet if he was actually one of the shooters. SOBR is probably arresting anyone who looks marginally suspicious given the situation.

"40 dead" at this stage means it's probably a lot worse.

Its really the worst part about current day politics, people are so bloodthirsty. All they see are dirty Putlers getting gunned down so they cheer it on, Reddit is going to have a field day.

This is horrific no matter what side you are on.
Innocent men, women, (and children?) were gunned down because some retard was angry about something, and blamed a bunch of people they've never met before.
They leave behind families, parents, children, friends, & jobs, but some retard who lives on the other side of the planet in Boston (who's never lost a close family member in their life) will insist that they deserve it for being born in the wrong country.
I hope whoever did this, regardless of reasoning, gets death by firing squad.

This writing on the building says "Concert Hall in the name of Muslim Magomaev", he's Azerbaijani, no idea if it has any relevance to what happened
The Russian presidential election was held recently. Wouldn't surprise me there could be people mad enough at average citizens for supporting Putin or ignoring government corruption. Could be Muslims, but I didn't hear them chanting so maybe not. It's still too early to tell.
Russian dissenters are usually gentler types, intellectuals and the like. People with police/military training went through the system and are unlikely to hold such views.
The amount of people with skills, resources and especially balls to stage such an attack among Russian opposition is incredibly small, if it exists at all.

Don't shit on me for this but why and how did we get so many perspectives, timestamps in videos of this mass shooting? The shooting itself was clearly a somewhat well organised one being that they had decent equipment (I think, not a gun expert), dsiabled the fire system/alarms and worked their way through strategically.

I guess it's somewhat of a fight or flight response to record a mass shooting that's taking place where you are???

I don't think it was Ukraine, they do not have the capability to do this, they barely have the capacity to fire missles no further than 3-4 miles into Russia or the odd drone. I see many Republicans disatisifed with the current administration and NATO autisically splerging it was them, infact, they even warned Russia and Russia said "everything is under control, secure etc". The US/NATO or "NAFO"didn't do shit lol, be logical.

Let's learn from history, Russia has a bit of a history to do false flags and it would be extremely nice timing considering it's after the election, the general Russian public are becoming more and more fed up and they need more troops for another summer offensive. OR It could very well be a group of organised camel fuckers.

*Edit* There is also still strong resentment for Russia/and it's government in the middle east, some of these organised camel fuckers just hate the entire fucking world, you need to realise that.

No, they're on Russia's side. There were even rumors of Ukies and the Azov Battalion putting pig blood and guts on their bullets.
I think you're thinking of Kadyrovites, the people fighting in the actual Chechen military. I'm talking about the jihadist factions leftover from the second Russo-Chechen War.

Angry people from Armenia perhaps? They were a once firm ally of Russia but are now on bad terms since that whole annexation of Artsakh by Azerbaijan debacle last year where Russian forces were criticized for not helping the Armenians. They only have more and more reasons to be bitter to if recent news is to go by.
