It's also a possible sign of rhabdomyolysis which would also explain the pale skin and bruising. Skipping the unnecessary backstory I've seen someone drink themselves to death and go that way, and Nick's appearance is very similar to theirs before they passed.

(also RIP, guy wasn't a dick but just had a massive addictive personality)

1h11m: Nick returns from the midstream mystery break with a bleeding nose, says his wife headbutted him in her sleep
Yeah right.
9m07s: Nick on finding a good lawyer:"If you get [a recommendation] from an idiot, don't follow it."
He really is completely oblivious to irony isn't he.

The man is dying.
The wasting away. The receding hairline. The bruises that won’t heal that are so bad that he has to colour tint his fucking livestreams.
Now he returns from a break with blood leaking from his nose.

Did the man make some sort of pact with the devil to get short term Youtube fame?!

2h19m: Upcoming: Ty Beard; Gazi(?) and Branca in April
Oh, look who returned to his vomit! I predicted it was only a matter of time before this happened.

I would say it's a ballsy move but, honestly, anybody that seriously supported Vic probably stopped watching Nick a long time ago. I don't even know if his current crop of watchers would know who Ty is.

Pity neither one of them will see anywhere near the Superchat numbers they saw back in 2019.

Gosney is actually a quality lawyer.
I dunno, man. Maybe. I will note, however, that Gosney wrote a book about "the ideal christian mindset" with a foreward by Nick Rekieta. A highly questionable choice.

I am aware a lot of people were fooled by Nick in the past, but I believe this was published in 2023. Or at least that's when Nick read the foreward he wrote on his show. By mid to late 2022 it should have been obvious to everybody that something was off about Nick's supposed Christian values.

Gosney also wrote this:

It is a legal romance novel that involves "the sex toy killer." Insert Balldo joke here.

No, I'm not joking. Look out John Grisham!

Call me jaded (and for good reason), but I don't trust any of the few remaining in Nick's orbit anymore.

Yes.

rhabdo from drinking? i've only ever heard of rhabdo in people who suffered extreme crush injuries in car accidents, and some freakish cases of insane crossfitters who went balls to the wall in a workout session until their muscles fell apart

Yes.

Gosney seemed like a solid fellow Catholic with strong convictions and a philosophical outlook that motivates him to stand for his beliefs. Combined with his 'empty nest' syndrome and underlying traits, he may be in danger of following Nick down the same path...

I have some hope because he announced a hiatus from content months ago as prompted by God to refocus his energies in a better, more healthy way. I hope he has enough moral ballast to keep him afloat and mostly wholesome.

Yeah, it's nasty. It's under the bigger umbrella of alcoholic myopathy; the bits that strike me as similar to the case I witnessed are Nick's nearly complete rejection of food for alcohol and extreme low energy. I'm not positive it's rhabdo it would be the logical progression from lack of nutrients.

As degen as Nick's gotten the lack of family intervention is getting to me but having been one of the people involved in the attempted intervention for the guy I mentioned I can understand why there hasn't been one. In my case the guy genuinely wanted to quit but just couldn't, he was the melancholic type rather than abusive. Nick would absolutely try to swing it for pity on his streams and take it out on the family though and I doubt he'd be able to break through the self-imposed narc barrier to actually admit he was wrong and attempt to change, and I think his family is well aware of this. It's like watching a slow-motion trainwreck at this point.

Maybe Nick announcing Gosney is "aspirational," and Gosney hasn't agreed to it.

I just don't know how anybody can legitimately publish a book in 2023 about a living a Christian lifestyle, and choose Nick to write the foreward. Unless they're just not paying attention.

Somebody needs to explain this shit to me. Or possibly explain it to Gosney, should he not comprehend how retarded that is.

By 2023, it was painfully apparent to anybody that had half a brain that Nick was not who he had previously claimed to be. I think by that point he was also already professing Jesus was just some dude, while the Balldo Brigade was trying desperately to claim that Rekieta's ex-fans were projecting their Christian values into him, and Nick never misled anybody. Guess Gosney didn't get that memo.

I first thought that it was possibly written years earlier and just left on the shelf to collect dust, but this forward read by Nick is full into his death spiral era, unless it's just a later retake.

Thats wild I gotta find that forward, should be hilarious to hear his take on the "Ideal Christian Mindset". I wonder how many "god damns" he put in it.

He doesn't mention anything about Christianity in the foreword. Big surprise.

Starting your foreword with not one, but TWO rhetorical questions? Really putting that creative writing degree to work.

He actually called himself a "lovable degenerate" too. What a pretentious faggot.

lol that’s defiantly a bruise on his face. The real question is, is it the same bruise or is it a new bruise in the same location? Either answer is pathetic in its own way.

I admit I've only seen Gosney on anyone's stream a couple of times but those times he annoyed the piss out of me. He was always either talking about his latest book or when he was in a band in the 80's. He'd also derail whatever conversation that was going on with some 80's band tidbit or picture.

TL: Jamal got a little spooked when Nick barged into the sex dungeon, offering him a balldo on a silver platter while he was balls deep in the goblin wife, and clocked him.
It's either this, or Nick went to kiss his children goodnight, and one of them punched him in the face, with the most brutal honesty that only a child can express - 'daddy, you stink of the bad juice again'

The book was written shortly after Depp and before Nick's total unmasking.

Publication was actually delayed becuase Nick did NOT submit the forward when he was supposed to. It seemed to be a very rushed thing so that it could go to print.

First time I saw Gosney he was on some stream of Nick's with some other lawpeople. Then that lady lawyer, Andrea Burkhart or something comes on for a little bit and he went full simp mode, to the point where Andrea seemed a bit uncomfortable about it and probably left the stream again sooner than she had planned to.
I don't know what it is about these lawtubers, but most of them seem to be a little off. I think Sean and attorney Tom are the only ones I haven't noticed anything weird about.
