RIA news agency said at least three people in camouflage clothing had opened fire at the Crocus City Hall, and that some people had been wounded.

Police had arrived at the scene, RIA said.

Video footage published on Russian social media channels showed chaotic scenes, with a large crowd of concertgoers attempting to flee the hall, followed by gunshots.

Other video footage showed a number of people lying motionless in pools of blood outside the hall

Reuters was unable immediately to verify the footage.

TASS news agency reported an explosion and a fire in the building where the shooting took place.

The Kommersant newspaper posted footage online showing smoke billowing from what it said was the concert venue building.

ISIS is supposedly taking responsibility

I buy it. Looking at the footage, looking at how they kill people, they don't come off as any kind of soldier. They come off as goat fuckers who can only do as much damage as they did, which while a lot pales in comparison to the reported 6k sold out theater audience members, because they're shooting poorly at unarmed civilians. The guy who kills the people huddled in a corner shoots like this is the first time he's shot anything outside of his cave. They don't look or act like professionals. I hope they are all found. I hope they are all caught alive. I hope they are all fed raw pork. I hope they are all killed in the most haram way possible.

I never fail to be entertained by how russia is held up as some glorious latter day hyperborea of #based white tradcon might by these people despite it being every blackpilled schizo tier caricature of the crumbling, decadent, muttified, and totalitarian west made manifest
It's masochistic nationalism at it's most pathetic, and essentially the same thing as the trannies who lionize third-world shitholes because 'muh brown people'. They hate their own homeland so much that they seek some 'exotic' culture to identify with. Even if that foreign culture is a complete shitshow.

It's like the anime worship going on atm, instead of kicking doors in and unfucking US animation we got people projecting themselves on media not even made for their culture and the end result is rampant porn addicts and people that think Chainsaw Man is good and not a show for powerbottoms.

ISIS claims were faked too.
As correctly noted, the claims that IS allegedly claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack in Moscow are a fake: these reports do not appear on any of the group's resources or their regional branches. This is also confirmed by Syrian and other Arabic-language channels.

At the same time, nothing prevents the "Islamic State" from declaring the opposite in the near future as part of self-parody: in recent years, the influence of this terrorist organization has largely waned, and in these conditions, the militants are ready to sign up for anything in order to remind of their existence.

What an awkward feeling to have that I breathe a sigh of relief that it’s seemingly ISIS Muslim nutcases and not some Ukraine/NATO/Mossad gayops. Not that that matters much because 200 IQ political dynamos can just build conspiracy theories out of anything to blame the organizations that live rent in their heads. I really don’t think Putin did it because all I’ve been told is that he has the nation under his thumb.

To be fair, I don't think most of those types actually believe Russia, or any other enemy of the west, are better than whatever western country that they live in. They're just bitter and spiteful and support whoever they think are against the west. Whether that's more stupid than genuinely believing it is up to you.

Doesn't ISIS claim responsibility for every attack committed by any islamic attack even if not affiliated?
"A simple tabulation of past claims of responsibility for attacks in the West shows that Isis has been surprisingly disciplined in only claiming attacks that the terror group has either directed, enabled or else inspired," Rukmini Callimachi, a New York Times correspondent focusing on Isis and al-Qaeda, told The Independent.

She added: "A large share of attacks now are inspired by the terror group. They are carried out by attackers who imbibed the ideology online, as opposed to carried out by the terror group's own personnel. (link)
If you're "inspired" by ISIS they'll likely shout you out.

Doesn't look like they claim responsibility unless they're sure.

I might be an Amerimutt but is that even a exit?

The building is fairly new so one would think it would have fire exit signage.
Now that you mention it those doors they try at the beginning look like they lead to some other part of the hall rather than outside. I don't speak Russia so I have no idea what they're saying and was relying on the tweet. If they were saying that they were locked in it was probably just the fear of the situation that they were in. A completely understandable situation. I'd be scared too if I got lost at the Grand Ole Opry after a mess of people opened fire.

The open one on that video had a glowing red sign that said "ВЫХОД" on it which means "EXIT". IMO, due to them being a panicked crowd in the middle of a fucking terrorist attack running for their lives, they went to the first door they saw and tried to go through it without realizing that it's not the exit, which was the other door with the glowing red sign.

They do, it's worth it to keep their name out there even if they really didn't do it. All publicity is good publicity.

Just seems unlikely they did it given the circumstances. While Russia played a key role in buck breaking ISIS in Syria I just don't see that as a big motivating factor anymore, and while ISIS (like other Sunni extremist groups) despises the Shia I don't think Russia's close relationship with Iran would motivate them to attack the country either.

They're just not really doing anything that would attract attention from ISIS at present, or at least doing nothing that they haven't been for at least the past 10 years or so. ISIS doesn't seem to care much about the Wiggers in China either so it rules that one out as well.
