RIA news agency said at least three people in camouflage clothing had opened fire at the Crocus City Hall, and that some people had been wounded.

Police had arrived at the scene, RIA said.

Video footage published on Russian social media channels showed chaotic scenes, with a large crowd of concertgoers attempting to flee the hall, followed by gunshots.

Other video footage showed a number of people lying motionless in pools of blood outside the hall

Reuters was unable immediately to verify the footage.

TASS news agency reported an explosion and a fire in the building where the shooting took place.

The Kommersant newspaper posted footage online showing smoke billowing from what it said was the concert venue building.

So it's either Ukrainians striking back, Russian glow op, or American glow op
The Fog of war is very strong right now but this could be an old fashioned Russian islamist attack. Especially with the weapons and loose borders with the conflict in Ukraine it's only a matter of time before other players make their moves and attempt terror attacks.
By the way expect these type of attacks in Europe and America as well as a result of the black market being flushed with both Russian and western weaponry due to Ukraine war stock being sold on the side.
Looks like an AK.
Yeah and guessing it's a 7.62x39 that means a near limitless number of factions could be behind this shit using the most common assault rifle in the world.
can ukraine even reach moscow with the missile weapons they have?
Yeah they've penetrated Moscow with drone and missile attacks. Not enough to disrupt things but just enough to keep the terror up.
My feeling about this is that this isn't necessarily proof that it's a cooked-in CIA operation. I feel like, if it's anything, the Ukrainians were planning something independently and the CIA/State Department found out about it and wanted to limit the possibility that this shit kills American citizens.
The Ukranians do get told by their handlers to avoid hitting pure civilian targets outright. Because they need that money flowing in and good pr. Cops, soldiers, government officials are fair game and seen as good targets a bunch of civilians and possible tourists at a concert? Not their motto. They like to humiliate the Russians with ha we can hit your targets.
This has Islamic nutter halmarks all over it. I don't think this is the chechnyans as even with the war in Ukraine most chechnyans understand the war. This seems like 3rd party blowback. As I said expect this in the US and Europe too.

Its likely Jihadists.

While the US gives the Ukranians something of a loose leash, the fact that the US was advertising that they knew of the attack weeks in advance, if this is Ukranians, is akin to the US basically saying that they planned and approve of the attack.

The only way the US would publish this is if they know it wont blow back to them in any way, otherwise theres too many questions- so honestly, Im guessing its actually jihadists.

When it usually involved Ukrainians, the US doesnt issue these threats, lest it seem as if its a US planned thing.
For the Ukranians this isn't their type of terror attack. Mass shootings in public places is not their style. They like drones and car bombs akin to the IRA.
Could be an extreme cell that just wants to kill all infidels.
And because of the current geopolitical situation, there is no shortage of secret services that would gladly support them.
More like no shortage of arms on the market and with Intel agencies too busy on domestic terrorism in the US and CIA and Ukranian terror in Russia this seems like the perfect way for oversight.
Truthfully I don't think Ukraine is behind this, this action is indefensible by anyone and would be public relations suicide for anyone even slightly involved. I'm betting on Islamic Extremists more than anyone, reminds me of that one ISIS attack in France.

A few drones hit the kremlin i think, but all they did was knock down the flag.
The Kremlin attack was more of a We can get to you attack. They tend to prefer car bombs if they need to be indiscriminate like the dugina assassination.
This gives me Isis vibes or some new psychotic player that's arising from a power vacuum somewhere.

I buy it. Looking at the footage, looking at how they kill people, they don't come off as any kind of soldier. They come off as goat fuckers who can only do as much damage as they did, which while a lot pales in comparison to the reported 6k sold out theater audience members, because they're shooting poorly at unarmed civilians. The guy who kills the people huddled in a corner shoots like this is the first time he's shot anything outside of his cave. They don't look or act like professionals. I hope they are all found. I hope they are all caught alive. I hope they are all fed raw pork. I hope they are all killed in the most haram way possible.
Unrelated: I really fucking hate how all of these stupid telegram servers put their stupid watermark over everything.

Amaq News Agency (ISIS) claims Islamic State is responsible. (reminder that ISIS is Israel)
I just want to remind you guys that ISIS claimed responsibility for the Las Vegas shooting (also through Amaq), and that was just some random guy who had nothing to do with them.

Recently, I think a month or two ago, their so-called Caliph was killed. Where? Syrian government territory.

I don't know if they'd have the ability to coordinate and plan an attack like this.

Also, Amaq goes out to something like 150 people globally, and most of them are probably journalists, glowies and other non-terrorists (meaning who knows how well the terrorists could even plan).

I'm very skeptical of this claim.

It will be confirmed if they had a video of the attackers talking about the attack ahead of time. Or, if they find like hundreds of pamphlets of ISIS imagery near the scene of the attack. ISIS has told people who attack inspired by them to do this so there's no doubt.

I used to want to write a book about terrorism/ISIS and so I learned a lot about them for no reason before I dropped my writing hobby

Ok I did some digging into the Amaq claim: it is not a fake IS release as some have claimed (but could of course be a lie). The new Amaq template is used in addition to the old one but not as a replacement (for longer news items). If you know how to use tor you can probably find the source of these claims but I don't wish to get in trouble for facilitating that.

There is a video I saw claiming to be recorded by the attackers on a Russain telegram channel. Doesn't follow the IS video editing style but it hasn't been officially released by them so that is very normal.

Let's be honest here Vegas wasn't bumpstocks, or one guy. Call it creative writing but I know the sound of a M240B vs a Bumpstock. It wasn't Isis (personally I think Saudi assassination attempt, this is just a theory with very little proof other than circumstanclal evidence.)

Sometimes in situations people just freeze or basically stay silent and calm.

Could be legit. Sometimes the editing style isn't there (especially now since the media department has been obliterated). There was a solo suicide attacker in Europe, I can't remember the details (suck on that, you're not even remembered) but his video was him standing on a bridge just like, "Hey guys. I'm doing this for the Dawlat." Really shit quality cell phone footage.

Amaq is a real thing and it has been really affiliated with ISIS and helped release statements on its behalf in the past.

They've also lied on behalf of the organization, claiming attacks, like Las Vegas, that have nothing to do with them. I think they just watch the news and guess.

I think Amaq used to be a Telegram channel, but now it's an email list (lol). Maybe there's a website, but I have no clue.
