IIRC, it was around the time Godwinson turned on Ralph (When were they friends?, let alone somebody Ralph can confide personal information to?) and Elaine wanting to be Ralph's best friend/future Demon baby carrier/cohost (because he's Kang of the Sektur baby). Godwinson snaked Ralph and Elaine told him he's just wants to be Null without any drive to so (because she's so in love with Null) and that's how they severed ties.
In short, Godwinson is just a middle aged drug addict that snaked another one that tried used this pissminge as a trophy but the other one also did. That same one also has connections to Null and she'd literally burn down a children's hospital just for Null to see her in a somewhat positive light.
