What is this shit, even? If your life is so much of a constant guilt trip that you're asking random niggers on the internet for advice over this, don't ask how to be a better doormat and just kick the bitch to the curb instead. You say she's your girlfriend, so you're not even married to her and presumably don't have any kids or anything tying you to her. Why put up with any of this bullshit if it's bringing you down this much and you have no compelling reason to stick with her? If your woman is using you as an emotional tampon you have an albatross around your neck rather than a girlfriend.

Keep my pony tail or remove it? My hair is properly cared for, just wondering if it's unattractive or not
If you could find an example of your hair shape, length, and style it could help.
Here's a weird question but I think it's important. How can I be more supportive for my partner and her health issues?

My girlfriend has a bunch of health problems, headaches, chemical imbalances, body temperature regulation, all that kinda stuff. She's really sweet and I love her and all that but sometimes her health stuff can be a handful and kinda depressing. She tells me about it all the time.

I just wanna know a good way I can deal with it, because I feel like if i don't adapt to it I can't make things work between us. I really really like her but it's just that sometimes hearing about her health stuff makes me feel worried and helpless on her behalf.

What do you suggest?
He didn’t say it very nicely, but he was still right.
There are 8 billion people on this planet. Dont
pick one that’s sick in their youth.

No, it's genuinely straight up retarded for anyone to put that much effort into a parasitic relationship while assuming they're not doing enough for arbitrary reason x. If it was his wife I would've told him to suck it up and stop being a whiny faggot because he chose to marry her, but if it's just a girlfriend and he's that torn up over it he's only wasting his time and energy by prolonging the relationship.

not to offend but how low testosterone are you
my pick up artist told me that girl problems should not be a problem for you
if girl problems make you depressed you might just have to suck it up and be a man

these are not even real problems to begin with
like what is body temperature regulation
just give her a coat

Well for context, they aren't menstrual problems. It happens all the time no matter what time of the month it is.
I don't give a shit about periods, they're just a fact of life. This is anemia and other shit caused mostly by the meds she has to take.

And I'm not giving her money, I'm not driving her to the hospital at 4am, I'm not serving her breakfast in bed. She lives her own life she just has a lot of health problems and I want to be supportive, I just don't know how beyond saying "that sucks, hope you feel better".

I get why you say this, you have the image of a soyjak retaking a buzzfeed quiz to make sure he's a good ally, no, I just have a girlfriend who has problems that I'm not used to.

I still don't understand what the point of this alleged relationship even is if you're having this much of an issue just talking to her because all she does is constantly yap about her medical records like some decrepit 85 year old grandma. It sounds like a complete waste of time if you're forced to LARP as her shrink out of some misguided sense of propriety. Find someone who doesn't feel the need to act like they're your patient whenever you talk to them, it's not that hard.

Good hair on a man is super attractive to me, and pony tails are a fine style, if a bit boring. Use a good shampoo in moderation and conditioner (plus leave in conditioner), possibly styling gel if you have natural curls and you want to reinforce them+reduce frizz.
Oh, and start taking finasteride preemptively if there’s any trace of baldness in your family. Being bald is only a little bit less unattractive than being balding.

My guy, I’m gonna be honest here.

WHAT exactly is her problem?

“Headaches, chemical imbalance body temperature imbalance”… It all sounds mighty vague and like something that could possibly be psychosomatic.

Did she actually get a diagnosis, or is your GF a blooming munchie?

Aside from that: How to help her? Ask her. It’s mostly her problem. As in: If she has some kind of chronic illness, she needs to learn how to deal with it.

My hairline is thankfully pretty decent despite being mega stressed lol, really the only issue with my hair is I have greying roots... in my mid 20s...

Talk to her about it. I have been around many sick/disabled/dying people in hospitals, and every single one was different in their preferences for care. If she brings it up a lot then it isn't rude for you to share what is on your mind as a result. She may have some great advice about how to deal with feeling hopeless since she lives all the symptoms and soldiers on somehow. It may just be nice for her to know you give enough of a shit to be affected by what is happening to her.

"psychosomatic" illness is almost always severe anxiety, which does make people physically ill over time. People routinely worry themselves sick, it isn't a condition that should be derided. If you look at the lifetime incidence of such disorders it typically starts before the age of ten and persists over a lifetime, which is a stark contrast with other psychiatric disorders. Usually such conditions can be managed but not eliminated. It isn't a moral failure, that's for sure.

to contrast, being a munchie is lying on purpose, knowing you aren't sick, and those women are decidedly not vague, because otherwise they cannot get the diagnosis they want.

I'm not sure if anybody has asked this question, but does your girlfriend take birth control? If she does, it could be a side effect from taking that. I have heard and read that women tend to have different reactions when being on birth control.

Mine started turning grey late teens early twenties too, I know it feels really bad, but as long as you’re taking good care of it grey hair isn’t bad on a man. Especially if it’s the salt and pepper type of grey, that can actually be quite sexy.

Grey hair can be pretty dry. Make sure you keep it from turning brittle by not overusing shampoo.

This might seem silly, and check if she's interested first, but ladies with lots of health issues tend to love soaking baths.

Epsom salts are wonderful for achy (pick a body part).

Getting her nice bath stuff every once and a while (if she wants it) is a small sweet gesture to let her know that her being in less pain/stress is important to you.

Small personal gestures are rarely a bad choice to show love/compassion/support.

Any decent shampoo/conditioner recommendations? I use head and shoulders and it leaves my hair nice and soft, but I get a shit ton of split ends

I'd only feel confident recommending Russian brands, I haven't used other products enough. I'm doing the nopoo curly thing, so instead of a shampoo I use a cleansing conditioner, and then a leave in conditioner and a styling gel. Dry shampoo only sparingly, it dries my hair out pretty badly, but it's still necessary to clean up greasy spots between wash days. Not sure my method would work for a man, your hair may get too oily without a proper shampoo or without daily washes.
What I would recommend is you start with a non-foaming shampoo, and a leave-in conditioner without silicates. Non-foaming shampoos are much gentler on the hair. Also, rather than rubbing products in, use the squish method, which is gentler on the strands. Basically you bend over and use a wide-tooth comb to brush all the hair forward (while it's wet, do this under a running shower), then you just put your hands together under the hair and squish up against the scalp a few times to distribute the product. You can gently rub it in at the back so all the hair gets some.
Do you have thin or coarse hair? Thin should be brushed while dry, while coarse should be combed (wide teeth or just fingers) while wet. The hair being wet is especially important if you're curly or wavy, brushing/combing curly hair while dry will just frizz it out or even break it.
Best cure for split ends is simply to not use too much product/chemicals, not too much brushing, and every now and then going to a salon to get the ends trimmed, even if you're trying to grow it out.

Does being on birth control really change that much? i've heard of some women being completely different when on or off birth control but i thought that was just some wild exageration
