If it's on a legit exchange that has to keep its banking connections they just get a court order or tell them to turn it over or else. If it's the suspect, they coerce them into turning over the passphrase. I'm not sure how they got DPR's crypto, but he'd almost have had to be a fool to turn over the keys since he didn't get any kind of deal worth getting (double LWOP), so he really should have just told them to go fuck themselves.

As far as I know the feds never actually specified how they seized that. If you believe the official story that DPR was caught due to retard opsec, it's not unthinkable that they also just found the key somewhere on his devices. That's no small if though.

just came to this thread after recognizing the name "764" from soyjak.party (and its thread here). Given the amount of overlap described in this thread with these groups, I'm not shocked that there's a connection to the sharty.
Perhaps all these groups are connected with each other. Most investigation I've seen so far centers around looking at the communities these people target and the entry ways to get into their doxing-pedogrooming discord servers, rather than the internal dynamics of them. I'm not advocating for anyone except law-enforcement to try infiltration, as doing so may end up getting someone hurt, but I do think mapping out these groups from the outside and noting similarities between them may make identifying their behavior easier in other communities, when they crop up.
For instance, Ruben put out that video about the race-play BBC groups on Roblox, who happen to share a similar obsession with race play as the BLACKED spammers on soyjak.party. The BBC groups also happen to be pedophiles, and I'm wondering if it's from the same groups of people.

Perhaps a mega-thread related to the connections between these people is warranted to try piecing these disparate groups together. The strange similarities in behavior between these groups (cutting, race fetishism, and twitch raiding/doxing) make me think they're all connected in some way. If they are, one thread to discuss these people and their behavior as a whole may make their patterns more apparent, and that can prevent infiltration sooner as people learn their symbols, slang, and tactics.

I have floated the idea of making something like this in Lolcow General, and I'll probably still do it once a few of the threads being worked on behind-the-scenes relevant to this sphere are posted.
