Yes, it's a pretty common move by terminally online losers on Twitter. The way the block function works was basically created for people like that so that the people they block can't see their tweets or respond to anything but they can stalk the other user's page. This was also done so leftists could organize report brigades much easier.

"Mute" only changes the full posts into snippets that say "This post is from an account you muted", aka fucking nothing. You have to create a custom filter with ublock to get rid of it properly.

If you go manually to an account that you have blocked, you can click on a button to show their tweets. So it's possible to see tweets of an account that you blocked, but there is some leg work.

Considering that many of the normies that Pat stalk don't even include his user name in their tweets about them, I suspect that pat has a list of accounts he manually checks for any tweets that even tentatively mentions him so he can correct the record.

This takes an insane amount of time but the only thing he doesn't have to do is unblock those accounts.
