LOL. The whole point of the classic Southern response is that it appears polite on the surface but people in the know understand exactly what you're getting at. If you call them names while doing it it just blows up the whole thing. Retard.

Someone up-thread mentioned about weight loss and the diabetes. I wanted to also mention that while Lou is attributing the weight loss to the HRT, this is not, and never has been, a known side effect of HRT. In fact, weight gain is a common side effect of estradiol, and the association between weight and estradiol is well studied (in women). Unless the HRT stabilized existing estrogen levels in Lou's body, which is extremely doubtful, it's definitely not responsible for any possible or potential weight loss.

That's why its never very satisfying to see him get backlash. They knew how he was, they were just too spineless to call him on it until he made a mildly politically incorrect tweet. Its like these people are unaware you can dislike someone for other reasons than spergy political disagreements.

They disliked Lou plenty, but their social justice flavor of the geek social fallacies meant that they weren't allowed to dislike Lou until he did a heckin' racism. One that was worse than the previous racisms somehow.

I don't like the plural furries any more than I did before; I'm just glad to see Lou face consequences, even stupid consequences. I particularly appreciate that he's beefing with perma-online people so we get to see their side, too. I have no doubt Denise has been verbally scathing to Lou now and again, but it's not on the record so it's not good gossip.

Wasn't the whole alleged "daddy rape" something Denise made up and forced Louie to say during their divorce, or is it something Louie himself just pulled directly from his ass and I'm just getting him confused with Phil/ADF? The two of them are so much alike in a number of ways that I get them confused with each other from time to time.

It’s almost like Ace changed their name to Wynn because being called out on misbehaviour makes Lou feel so insecure in his identity and unable to cope with remorse and responsibility that he needs to change his identity to push those feelings away and make them no longer true instead of coping healthily, learning, and growing.

Instead of claiming to have a dissociative disorder like DID it’s like Lou skimmed plural tumblr for terminology and structure for two seconds and ran off without understanding what even those communities were going for. He claims to have somehow completely retired the part of him that has been acting as the spokesman and mouthpiece, through lovely metaphors like putting her down, hastily corrected to sleeping forever once he realized how callous it sounded to kill the main piece of yourself because nobody liked it and it did a racism. This piece was replaced by a completely newly created piece of himself? That is just Ace in furry blackface? There is no change in worldview, no new opinion, no discontinuity in goals, no fresh insight into how Ace behaved from the distance of Wynn.

How long until Wynn goes “you know, I can’t escape the Ace name. I think I was Ace all along. The tRaUmA just made me rebrand but I know I need to stop running away.” Before he created Wynn he alluded to maybe just revising Ace, or recreating a better Ace.
