Sorry for the derail as this isn't really CG or NASCAR related, but Zack dropped his non-take on the budding Ed Piskor drama.
For those who haven't heard, Cartoonist Kayfabe co-host and Eisner Award winner Ed Piskor was
outed as a sex pest by cartoonist Molly Dwyer on Instagram, sharing private messages between she and gross middle-aged wigger Piskor from 2020 when she was 17 and Piskor was 40.
Following Dwyer's post,
another woman made an accusation against Piskor, alleging that he offered to give her his agent's phone number in exchange for oral sex.
An exhibit featuring Piskor's work was scheduled for early next month in his native Pittsburgh but
has since been postponed indefinitely (aka canceled forever). You'd figure life would be embarrassing enough for a wigger in his 40s with chronic diarrhea who makes a living drawing rap niggers and snuff porn
without the sex pest label on top of it but here we are. Piskor has since privated his Instagram and DFE'd his Xitter account. Pretty good look for a white boy that dindu nuffin.
There's been some speculation that Piskor is using a Xitter sock (under the handle "Terketa") to defend his own honor and that this sock account also follows EVS.
Piskor CG arc when?
Back to Zack's video, it takes him half an hour to make two different but relatively solid points:
1) People like Alex de Campi (who has been railing against Piskor on Xitter) view the violations endured by others as business opportunities more than anything else and
2) Comments like "I never liked that guy and his art sucks" are both very common and completely unnecessary in these situations and only serve to prove you care more about dunking on someone you don't like than you do about the victims in these scenarios.
He also seems to think this kind of thing wouldn't happen if there was still mentorship and apprenticing in the comics industry. Not really sure why, but I stopped trying to understand Zack logic many years ago.
It's been a long while since I sat through a Zack video and I'm still amazed at how bad he is at making them. In any case, I couldn't help but notice that he dances around the actual story, not mentioning Piskor by name or the accusations against him, he seems to be reacting to the reactions, which is surprising only because I know Zack was a huge fan of Kayfabe (the only reason I know of them at all is because Zack always talked about their videos and also ripped off Jim Rugg's Octobriana book).
Zack also seems to be okay with making fun of Mags again, referring to him as "he" and even chastising himself for calling Mags "she" at one point in the video. Maybe he finally realized there was no point in playing nice or feeling sorry for the people who wanted him homeless or dead.
