The line originally is from Captain Ahab in the novel Moby Dick. A character fallen into madness and seeking pointless revenge against the unseen forces of the world controlling his fate by attacking a whale. A whale that he can't possibly defeat. He corrupts the whole crew and his actions lead to everything being destroyed except for one man.
That as well is a good metaphor for Ukrainian nationalism.

Yes, I know; I think it's the best of all the Star Trek movies, past and present. Ricardo Montalbán was an under-rated actor, the script was very good and it really showed why TOS still remains popular. The Moby Dick reference was perfect; someone told me you can see the book in Khan's quarters in the ship that took them to the planet they were supposed to colonize, but didn't, and had turned into a desolate wasteland. The perfect metaphor for post 1991 Ukraine and its nationalists; they had everything they needed to start a new nation and flourish, but couldn't, and irrationally blamed Russia for all their failures.

No aftermath footage, unfortunately. IMO, the first drone missed entirely, losing control and hitting the ground in front of the tank. The second looks like it either hit the top of the turret at a shallow angle, or struck the turret face head on, but it's impossible to tell for certain.

The Marder was an IFV designed in the early 1960s and built in the early 1970s. Large numbers of them have been sitting in storage in Germany for decades. Germany would love to get rid of them and Ukraine was an excellent opportunity to do so.

The deadline for the execution of the instruction is set until June 15, 2024.
In February, it was reported that the Organization for the Development of the Video Game Industry (RVI) will present to the government a plan for the development of video games in Russia for a five-year period. The roadmap was drawn up, among other things, taking into account proposals from executive authorities, state organizations and the professional gaming community. The plan consists of 83 points, including educational, export, and technological.

The thing about the East and the West is: The Eastern mindset has been described (maybe even by Putin himself) as "collectivist". As opposed to the Western mindset as "individualistic". Russians see themselves as a commune so to speak and the further east you go the more "communist" it gets. Its a common thing to call each other "brother". The Chinese is the most extreme form of the "bee hive" mentality. The Westerners are very good when it comes to entrepreneurship, money making and business - it requires an individualistic drive for success. One thing is good for business the other one is good for winning wars. Its all pluses and minuses.
The Russians are not scared of dying or way less scared of dying because they see themselves as members of a Nation that will survive no matter what. They are a part of a bigger "organism". The Westerner is scared of death because for the individual death is the end. There is no Nation, no bigger organism, absolutely nothing. The individualistic mindset has nothing to look forward to except of death in the long run.
Putin is not a person that you elect (from the Russian perspective) he "is" Russia, the personified Russia. With all its glamour and dirt. Which is hard to understand from a Western point of view where politicians are only doing a job and retire whenever they see fit.
You can criticize the Russian way all day long, but it is what it is and its not gonna change.

Honestly it would probably have a LOT of fun games. They won't compete on graphics so they will compete on fun and engagement.

Sure it can compete in graphics.
I reckon they’ll get the chips from China/Taiwan (if this comes to anything) like an ARM CPU and a Mali or Chinese GPU, smack on a Linux distro for the OS and off we go!
I’d love to see some games based on Russian history or a a BF1 tier shooter set in the civil war.
