Bad Dragon had humble beginnings as a company that manufactured and sold dildos... 16 years ago. In that time they've sank their hooks into both the furry and wider "kink" community incredibly deep. They are now a "lifestyle company" for degenerates. They have the money to sponsor a racing team and have done so since at least 2022. They also get in bed with other sex toy manufacturers, such as Weredog who seem to specialize in toys that cater to zoophiles allowing BD to indirectly profit from this demographic without getting themselves into hot water. This has helped them sanitize their reputation over the years so they are now something that you can safely wear as a "wink and nod" to your sexual proclivities without risking too much.

There exists tons of patents for sex toys and filings for sex toy patents. I shudder to imagine the technical drawings for the Monster Kaiju Cum Pump Rectum Ravager being used as evidence in the courts.

knew a guy irl who was jury duty on a particularly heinous child rape case, he told the story of having to patiently explain several times to the thickest of the jurors what "rupture" meant had happened until she finally got it

To be fair is probably better and funnier than having to defend the local pedophile for his 30th offense because the judge refuses to sentence him to jail

The girl I know who had one was just a furry, didn't do any type of camwhore shit or porn. She was hypersexual though. This was a few years before OnlyFans was a thing as well. I wouldn't say furries are jailhouse gay either, I think men who like cute anthro animals are just far more likely than your average man to be gay/bi. Same way a guy obsessed with fashion or interior design is likely to be gay.
Edit: Lucky Coyote is a prime example of a female furry who would buy Bad Dragon shit. Kinda surprised she doesn't have her own thread but she's been discussed here a few times. Google Doc about her, see page 80 for zoo allegations. Long story short, heavily suspected to be a zoophile, has feral art with the dog paws on the hips tattoos, others claim she admitted it but provided no receipts to prove it. She kept it private because she was one of the biggest fursuit makers, never did porn as far as I'm aware, that'd be a really dumb move on her part given her status in the fandom before her cancellation.

I can’t say I feel sorry for them, and I hope their case gets thrown out on the count of how absurd it is. Just for anyone who hasn’t jumped into the pit of depravity like me, Bad Dragon is well known for having products of questionable quality and absurd prices. Some dildos are nearly 90 dollars. But furries love that shit.
