Especially shitty companies with more money than sense.

They'll have the HR or legal department "debrief" an outgoing employee that's either been fired or has quit, and essentially ambush them on way out & accuse them of stealing during the "off boarding process" (lol)

They'll say "we suspect you have proprietary company intellectual property in your possession" blah blah "we think it's on your personal phone / on your personal laptop / up your butt" blah blah "we'll make a police report for theft and sue you unless you sign all this non-compete / NDA paperwork"

Another trick they'll use in getting you to sign is say "okay here's some severance" (a couple of extra paychecks). But you only get the money if you sign this paperwork.

Or they'll threaten to oppose & withhold your unemployment insurance. (In America, your most recent employer can sabotage your unemployment by claiming you engaged in vague "misconduct" or were fired for "cause").

Then it's your word against theirs in a government phone call. No evidence needed.

Classy stuff.

They definitely can bully you into signing, especially if they are willing to lie.

I noticed that a lot of people in this thread base their opinions on 18 seconds of a Ring video, but conveniently forget that she deleted several thousand hours of Ring footage (against the will of the court) and is also refusing to turn over several thousand hours of footage that was requested by the court.

Everything about the Ring video is suspect due to the editing. It had timestamps so you could see the seconds removed in a few places. Means he could’ve been responding to batshit insane stuff Hillary was saying and we’d be none the wiser. Crowder is a cunt but no reason to fall into believing Hillary can do no wrong.

Seriously, if cameras had been as ubiquitous when I was married back in the Mesozoic Era as they are now, my ex could very easily have cherry-picked videos of some of our fights in which I would have looked like the bad guy. I've never been persuaded by that one edited video that Crowder is Hitler deSade Mengele. A jackass, yes, absolutely.

Question for those who have paid more attention: Where actually do the Crowders live, and where can we see the full documents from these lawsuits? I tried searching Dallas County TX court records (I thought they were in Dallas) but didn't find anything under the name Crowder.
