I was simplifying massively. DHT is produced roughly in proportion to your testosterone levels, at about 10%, and is a necessary hormone for maintenance of male organs like the prostate. Given its production is reliably proportional to testosterone levels, barring other minor factors, it is accurate to say that baldness is due to genetic factors and high testosterone. Because it generally is.

Masturbation doesn't change DHT levels. That's a nofap myth.

NEW YORK — Visa and Mastercard announced a major settlement with U.S. merchants on Tuesday, potentially ending nearly two decades of litigation over the fees charged every time a credit or debit card is used in a store or restaurant.

The deal would lower and cap the fees charged by Visa and Mastercard and allow small businesses to collectively bargain for rates with the payment processors in a similar way that the large merchants do on their own now.
Industry groups for retailers both small and large said the settlement is a positive development, but far more needs to be done to remedy the current swipe-fee situation. They noted that the lowered fees would be only for a limited period of time — three to five years — after which the fees would return to their current levels.

"While this settlement is a step in the right direction and will provide a limited amount of short-term relief to small businesses, it does not solve the long-term anti-competitive rate-setting practices that are the root of this problem,"

I don't buy that this is the whole story. If it was, stuff like finasteride that severely curtails DHT production would be a baldness miracle cure, but it simply is not.

So I'm just curious, given the way the shoe inevitably drops whenever a leftie does something evil in God's eyes in terms of karma/disproportional retribution that fucking destroys the leftie's life who starts shit as far as getting hit in return for said shit talking. Will there be any sort of retaliation/destroying of Rachel Maddow and Chuck Todd for their role in running Rona McDaniels out of MSNBC and then, in the case of Rachel, gloating after the fact that she helped get Rona fired?

I keep thinking Rachel probably HAS to have some major skeletons in her closet that someone on the right is sitting on, for the right moment to bring them out and utterly destroy her life, getting her made into a pariah, and getting her blackballed from TV and cost her all of those cushy movie/documentary deals she got when she reupped with MSNBC. Same with Todd, who has been around long enough that he has to have some skeletons that are just waiting to be dragged out into the light to nuke him from orbit.

It is actually used as a balding treatment, but all it can really do is slow down the progression and maybe encourage thicker growth in follicles that still work. Its original purpose is to treat prostate enlargement, I believe as a replacement for GnRH agonists, but I'm not sure.

All you have to remember is that baldness is a hereditary predisposition. Male pattern baldness is enhanced by high testosterone levels, which leads to high DHT levels unless something else interferes. Men who were castrated as boys don't show typical male pattern baldness because they don't produce enough testosterone, and so in turn don't produce enough DHT to affect their scalp follicles.

That election night was something special. The only time I saw anything similar was when the leave vote won, when all the polls suggested it wouldn't. From the way the media personalities and politicians reacted, you'd think the world had literally ended and satan himself had taken up residence in Whitehall.

I do, because the cunt hasn't learned anything from Trump kicking Hillary's ass (as seen by the fact that the cunt has done victory laps, first getting drunk with Hillary when Trump first got indicted and then with the coke slut who thinks rape is sexy when she won her case as far as the two celebrating and talking about how the coke slut who thinks rape is sexy was going to give Rachel a cut of her money as a reward for being anti-Trump and spreading her lies).

I want Rachel Maddow irreversibly ruined and destroyed and disgraced in a way that makes Keith Olbermann's fall look like romper room. Her tears did little to satisfy me because once she stopped crying, she went into overdrive spewing election denialism and blood libeling Trump with renewed sense of malice and evil.

102-year-old California father in wheelchair ordered to scrub graffiti off his property or face $1.1K fine

A 102-year-old, wheelchair-bound California man was ordered to paint over his vandalized fence with his 70-year-old son or face a hefty fine.

Victor Silva painted over the black and red graffiti on the back fence of the home he has lived in for the past 80 years after the city of Oakland implemented a March 19 deadline, according to KTVU.

“ Just had a roller and a paintbrush and just painted it,” Silva told the outlet.

If Silva failed to comply with the order, he would face a $1,100 fine — including an additional $1,277 each time he failed a reinspection.

Silva said he had painted over the recurring graffiti himself without issue for years, but it’s become more of a struggle as he gets deeper into his twilight years.

“It was very easy because I was a contractor, you know. I’ll be 103 in two months or so. That slowed it up a little bit, you know,” Silva added.

Silva’s family slammed the “absurd” actions by the city over the reoccurring issue.

“It was so absurd, it’s like a joke. If you drive around the city and see the graffiti everywhere, it’s just, I don’t know what to say,” Silva’s daughter-in-law Elena Silva told the outlet.

The burden now falls on his son, Victor Silva Jr., 70, who claims the graffiti keeps popping up no matter what they do to prevent the vandalism.

“It’s hard to keep up with it because as soon as we get it painted, It’s gonna be graffiti on it again, and it won’t last,” said Silva Jr.

Silva’s family pointed out that a utility box only yards away from the fence was covered in graffiti, further infuriating them when their 102-year-old father was threatened with a fine.

“I would hate to think that there [are] other hundred-year-old people that are being harassed like this,” said Silva Jr.

Silva Jr. has unfortunately grown accustomed to the rampant decay of the city.

He manages his family’s nearby small commercial building, which he said has been broken into three times in the last year alone — once coming face to face with a vagrant inside.

Each time, Silva Jr. told the outlet, he’s called 911, but the issue is not subsiding.

“I’m put on hold every time. So it’s hard to understand where our tax dollars are going. They can’t answer 911, but they can come out and hassle you about a fence?”

Silva Jr. noted that “Oakland has to change” and that the system in place is simply “not working” if crimes are not being addressed — but his elderly father is facing hefty fines for something out of his control.

According to KTVU, the city inspector is aware of the issue and will immediately inspect the fence. The inspector also said he would consider canceling the citation.

While the city is out targeting senior citizens for vandalism on their property, crime in Oakland seems to be intensifying.

Robberies were up 34% in 2024 compared to last year.

The surge in robberies prompted police to issue a public safety advisory on March 13.

The advisory states that the Oakland Police Department is making “progress” to reduce the rampant crime but still wants the public to remain vigilant.

Motor vehicle theft has also been a major issue in the city.

In 2023, the number of car thefts in Oakland was the highest it’s been in more than a decade, with more than 14,700 reported — a 44% increase in auto thefts compared to 2022, according to KTVU.

Every fucking homeowner who took out a mortgage or line of credit on their house should be sweating.

NY, CA, and other competitive housing markets mean you bid over asking.
You back up that bid by hiring an appraiser who everyone knows represents the buyer despite them being "independent" on paper.
This means everyone who is not a life-long rent slave has committed the same "fraud" Trump did, and is subject to seizure of the value of their home and all proceeds derived from any lines of credit or savings invested as a result of having the home and its mortgage.
