First off, welcome back
@Positron, you've managed to raise my blood pressure quite well today with this batch of screencaps! I look forward to even more of Bob's stupidity (and thank you as well to those who braved his feed in the interim,
@Ralph Barnhardt and
@JayHarrison).

DeSantis reaches a settlement with The Rat.
Archive of CNN article. Of course, in Bobby's estimation, The Rat cannot lose.
As mentioned above, Bob is running the "you didn't win! you didn't win!" defense by arguing that, because DeSantis didn't immediately tear up the contract with Disney, he actually looks like a weak and impotent leader. Retard doesn't understand that, even in the case of a bad and probably unconstitutional agreement, you still have to go through the motions if you don't want to get fucked over in court somehow. There is no way to look at this as anything but a total Rat loss, and I look forward to their having to do business like everyone else in Florida.

The guy didn't say The Batman was high art, fatass, he just said it was better due to the director having a clear goal in mind and striving to make it happen, as opposed to the latest MCU assembly line slop. I know you have a hateboner against this movie for some reason, but I'd say the fact that you're still talking about it, even if only to denigrate it, means it had more of an impact on you than anything Marvel's put out in years.
Also, saying that Sony games the entire IP law system unjustly is fucking laughable. Marvel sold them the rights legitimately over 20 years ago when they needed the cash, and Sony knows how valuable Spider-Man is as a brand, so they're going to continue to do everything legally necessary to maintain their hold on those rights. That's not gaming the system, that's literally how the system works. If Disney doesn't like it, they can buy the rights back at any time, but they're probably not gonna like what Sony would charge them.

Star Wars
Compared to the weak, ineffective, worthless Luke from the Disney sequels? Yeah, OT Luke is indeed a Chad, even at the very beginning. OT Luke went from being a humble farmboy to blowing up the Empire's greatest superweapon in the span of a few days, then went on over the next few years to defeating the Emperor, redeeming his father, and rebuilding the entire Jedi Order from nothing. Sequel Luke got a big sad, moped on an island, and then fucking died after accomplishing nothing.
At some point, I hope that something Bob loves gets ruined in such a way that he can't just rationalize it away. I really want another Yoshi's Island event for him solely because he takes such perverse delight in other people's joys being destroyed.

Even American Godzilla movies aren't that expensive to make.
So basically what you're saying is that actors are grossly overpaid for their abilities, and that funding could have been better spent on making a better movie? I don't think that's actually what you're saying, Bob, but it's something that should be done.
Also, even if we set aside the actors' salaries, that still doesn't explain why Disney's output looks so terrible, especially in comparison to movies from a decade ago. That one sycophant even claims that the reason Godzilla looks fine is because "the harder expensive questions have already been answered." If that were the case, then Marvel would be looking the same or better over time, as opposed to objectively worse and unfinished.

Chalamet is now so bankable that WB allows him executive calls.
Y'know, this might be a wild theory, but I'm almost starting to think that Bob is a deeply closeted homosexual, and he's disguising his lusts for Chalamet with relentless bashing and denigration of his work. After all, we
know Bob has never had sex with a woman; it's entirely possible his thirstposting for women is just a clumsy attempt to cover for his gay tendencies.
(Okay, probably not true, but funny to think about.)

DEI in video game is just following the money. The
statistics Bobby links to.
Anyone who's ever delved into those gaming demographic stats knows that the "half of all gamers are women!" is a fucking joke. That statistic is always derived from the overall numbers, which include people that just fuck around on smartphone games. The demographics have remained essentially unchanged for decades: core gamers are predominantly young men, casual gamers are predominantly older women. DEI is not going to change this fact; all you're going to do is drive away existing audiences while not attracting new ones. In that sense, it's no different than the "we want the Call of Duty audience" trend that fucked over so many games in the 00's and 10's.

LibsOfTikTok fancies herself as a style guru.
I think I've shared this anecdote before, but there's a woman who goes to my church who suffered trauma in the womb, and as such has suffered from various physical and mental ailments over her life. Despite being objectively lower intelligence, she's sweet and kind to everyone, she works diligently in the nursery every week, and she knits up a storm creating prayer shawls and hats and other things for ministry. She's done more good in her life (a life which might never have happened, since doctors didn't think she'd live long past birth) than many people smarter than her.
So when I see this bloviated retard stating emphatically that moral and intellectual intelligence are the same thing, and thus stating that this woman is evil solely because she's mentally handicapped, it really makes me want to hit him over the head with a shovel. There's no denying it now, Bob, this clearly isn't just you joking around, you're a flat out eugenicist, full stop.

Superior Future.

I don't know who is Chuck Lorre but I have a hunch that The Prodigal Heel has Georges Lematîre in mind.
Bob's attempting to make a funny by deliberately referencing The Big Bang Theory TV show, a horrendously unfunny sitcom about Hollywood stereotypical nerds that somehow got like a dozen seasons and simultaneously helped ruin nerd subculture by making it normie friendly. He probably knows what the guy's talking about, he just doesn't want to have to admit that an evil Believer actually came up with probably the best known theory about the universe's creation.

Bobby thinks his physique is "intimidating".
Mark Kern has been a successful video game developer for much of his adult life. Alyssa "Obvious Daddy Issues" Mercante calls him ugly, and Bob states emphatically he's as bad as a serial killer and probably strangles cats.
Is it any wonder that he's not supporting your side when you treat him like this?
