The game had marketing that was clearly trying to pander to Antifa and trying to liken the nazi soldiers to Trump supporters. It was clear what they were going for, and if I recall correctly the game also had some commie you sided with and he was painted as a "good guy". This really was the moment when Wolfenstein jumped the shark, or rather tried to and got it's leg bitten off. The game was mediocre and it's sequel even more ridiculous, that one had a black pregnant woman screaming like a chimpanzee as she was gunning down natzees on her knees, spinning in all directions like a girlboss. Then we got Young Blood, whose very existence I still question, cementing the new reboot as dead in the water.

That whole future-reich arc was not all that fun and trying way too hard to shock, looking back. Actual WW2 games were much better, and nothing will beat Return to Castle Wolfenstein. It should be noted that the dev behind those newer games, Machine Games, are Swedish and about as woke as they come, just in case you were wondering if anyone was grasping at straws here.

In HL2 the main NPC is Alyx, who is mixed-race yet not defined by it, and in an era where most NPCs actually involved in gameplay were useless escort mission assholes who constantly tried to commit suicide, she was an absolute badass who actually covered for you sometimes. She also wasn't just some piece of T&A cheesecake and looked pretty normal, and had an actual personality.

Then you had the Portal games where the two main characters were women.

And the L4D games which had as much representation as you can get with four mains.

Everything woke idiots claim to have pioneered was done before them, often before these fucking millennial pieces of shit were even born, and better than they did it. They're racethumpers much like the Bible thumpers before them. They're completely ignorant of the genres they fuck up.
