Chantal is a liar, but she's also stupid and lazy, and I think her stupid laziness is usually a better explanation for things than her low cunning. They do combine for some pretty stunning outcomes, though.

I wouldn’t discount a serious medical issue. Look, we all KNOW of serious, major medical issues she has admitted to. Her diabetes is pretty severe at this point and by her own will and visible behaviour is completely uncontrolled.
Her skin, especially her legs, is a gnarly, discoloured mess that may be a result of the diabetes or a free standing issue but clearly.., there’s something going on there.
The last time she mentioned it, her liver was almost 3 times the normal size for a female and we know her diet had not improved.
She’s admitted to an enlarged heart.
She can no longer get out a full sentence without having trouble breathing and has used a CPAP for years.
Those are just the conditions we know about and there is reasonable hypothesizing about a good half dozen other conditions she could and may have. I’m convinced, based on just the small part of her we can observe, that she has congestive heart failure but what I see can easily be explained by other diagnoses.
Known or theorized, it’s a safe bet that her health is precarious at best and the poor functional balance’ granted her won’t need much to tip her into a crisis.
One day of soaring blood sugars, a for other people minor skin cut or a head cold, could easily turn to something immediately life threatening and within a matter of mere hours, ALL her underlying systemic issues can become involved.
TL/DR: she could be in hospital and too sick to use her phone but… she’d have to be in extremis as we all know how addicted to social media she is.
I’m going with serving a time out as my first guess, medical as second choice and my 100-1 wager is her playing head games. Maybe that should be 200-1.

She got Bibi or someone else to film for her while in a hospital bed, in pain, and barely able to talk. Unless Prince Charmin isn't allowed to go into the women's side of the hospital (I just assume that's a thing, since every other area over there is separated by sex), he would be filming her for clicks. Gunt is just stuck in the passenger seat of the temumobile, in the middle of the desert doing a visa run, because Salah wouldn’t pay out for two plane seats for her. This border run trip will also give her the opportunity to do a travel vlog (if she wants to). She was also probably not happy about doing the run herself, because we are pretty certain there was some kind of unexpected hold up last time that saw them having to extend their stay in Thailand.
If she’s in the YouTube naughty corner, all the better to hide the border run we all knew she needed to do about now. Sure I would rather her next livestream comes direct from the Kia in Cornwall, but I’m not optimistic enough to think that’s more than the remotest of possibilities.
