Even parents without physical custody can spitefully refuse to go along with the choices of the other parent and drag them to court over and over again. It just wasn't worth a beat up old used car at best even to have this psychopath in their lives.

As it is, Pat is not a parent. He is nothing but the source of some extremely low quality genes.

Also, I doubt his advances are shit, no matter what he claims. I wouldn't be surprised if they're something rock bottom like $5K and don't even earn THAT back.

I am now thinking a Pat sonichu style is required.

I am pretty certain that Adrienne didn’t have much ability to stop or encourage the termination of Pat’s parental rights and Pringles can John even said at one point that they had tried to keep the option of Fatrick having a relationship with his daughter open.
Yet Patrick had adamantly refused, even with enough time for the enormity and understanding that he had killed any potential meaningful or legally enforced relationship with his child to sink in.
Yes he is an unfit parent, but at least he did the right thing and stayed out of her life.
