Was sent these by one of my friends. Oh man, I have so many things to say about this. The completely unrealistic expectation for the turnout of hormone treatment. The label “not horribly depressing.” The brighter colors in the before image. The fact that the trend is drawing your oc before and after trauma. The natural steroids can't do anything beyond their normal functions. Testosterone definitely fucks up estrogen's function, unless so much of it is taken that the excess converts itself to estrogen to keep the balance, but that's the intended effect. Estrogen has lower priority than testosterone on the other hand, which is why MtFs need to take testosterone blockers to see feminization effects.
