Saw that video, glad you advertised (for lack of a better word) it here. They're hesitant to speak negatively about movie-games for they hope to be apart of one in the future. Most any of them ever got was Mauler voice acting in that Ant RTS game. Good game, he's a good narrator too. I do enjoy his videos on his main channel but watching the actual EFAPs rather than certain highlights really shows how much of a tool he can be. Should've sticked to finishing up shitting on the GoT season 8. As for Drinker specifically, like I mentioned no one will really go after EFAP in any meaningful way because most of them lack the critical thinking skills necessary and just get mad they don't like what they like. No one with a big enough audience will bring it up and anyone who does directly will be ignored and banned, or he'll deflect it like all grifters do. "Oh yeah I call woke shit out all the time, but not this one. This is a movie game and it'll look poorly on any future movies I make that my future investors will invest in" or "it'll hurt my chances of being noticed by an actual director and make something of my life othe than my YouTube persona of 'drunkard movie critic."

That was me a year or so ago, also potentially add pedophile to the list going off what I've read before. It was more or less white noise that I would occasionally focus on when something interesting happened. I've started watching them less and less as I paid more attention to what was being said as I slowly began to realize how retarded they were. It's harder to realize in a vacuum without anyone with any real intelligence pointing out their nonsense, just as it's hard to find big content creators who aren't grifters. But it goes to show that as soon as you start paying attention you start noticing the pseudo-intellectualism. I started watching them really early in their careers so maybe it was barely obvious at the time and that brought my guard down, also was far more interested in the more...rowdy moments. Like when Wolf would lose his collective shit, such as when they were covering Just Write. As I grow older, I nooootice more than I already did, so that goes to show that once you start to pay attention to these grifters, you start to be repelled by them. I say people have a good capacity to retain information, but it has to be information they care about. You ask the average zoomer to talk about something like modern music (mostly rap) or modern games (Fortnite specifically) and they'll go on for a while. Ask them about school and their brain would turn into static as their eyes glaze over.
It'll be like that for a lot of folks over time, I reckon. I listened to Mauler's TLJ takes a few times in the car when I had some downtime between Uber passengers. After a few times, I began to see some holes. Not glaring. But the "this is objective" part was central to my disinfatuation. Mind you, I'm someone who believes in objective writing, but I've also been taught that objective writing requires a standard. Despite referencing "objectivity" over and over again, Mauler never stated what school of thought led to his determining what was or wasn't objective. For all I'm aware, he's just applying TV Tropes to everything. But who knows?
I'm also someone who appreciates objectivity, but that word is hallow and meaningless when you just say it for the sake of sounding smart. Which Mauler is the king of doing. Or more Jester.

For me, it's all about looking at patterns and the way people use language. Southpaw does this egregiously where he makes a faux paw and then covers it up by writing an entire essay. I remember when Wolf laid things out when Southpaw's autism got a bit too much for him. But, the thing is, Southpaw was always just taking to the Nth degree what Wolf, Mauler, Rags, and so many other content creators do on the regular.

To laugh at both of them for a moment, that whole debacle was because someone else told Joseph that Mauler called him a faggot, that means that not only does Joseph not watch criticism of his videos but only cares when someone calls him a mean word (and even then only when said person tries to reach out at him), meaning that Mauler was so beneath him that he never gave a shit about his video until he started trying to goad him on his show. Now that should be an ego hit.

I kept some receipts from 2018, but I basically fell out around the time they started doing EFAP. It was extremely low-effort content compared to scripted videos.
