PL: I've been fortunate to not have to care for my parents yet, if ever, but my mum and dad looked after her dad after an amputation, through a cancer diagnosis and just general old age. Caring for close family can be really draining and messy, for family dynamics and your emotional state.

I only got the chance to see this part but hearing Jim open up... it was hard. The anniversary of my mother's own passing was on Friday and I cared for her right up until the end of needing to do CPR on the floor of the livingroom when she passed. Maybe that's oversharing but I could hear the same type of anger in his voice that I have when this stuff comes up. Fuck Mersh lol.

A lot of them go together or just aren't particularly interesting outside of him being relatively young and having this shit. I don't think it's malicious though. He likely has something rare or maybe even undescribed.

imo the osteoporosis/fractures is probably due to the steroids. It's not exactly clear if he started them prior to 2023, but even 3 months is enough time to see rapid bone density loss.

That was my read. He's a very sick man, and he isn't going to see 50. But he's also a cynical man underneath the jovial big bro character, and as we can see from his upped streaming schedule and energy, he isn't about to be read his last rites any day now or something like that, even if he makes it sound that way.

That's really easy to detect and really known and if he had that they'd already know it. It's a stutter where an otherwise normal repetition of DNA results in the gene expanding and repeating vastly over and over again, to the point that instead of generating a useful protein, it generates a protein that guarantees fatality.

That being said, would you agree to have Jim do the Genome Testing first and then get inspected by researchers/scientists/doctors at whatever high-end hospitals on the East Coast? It's better to archive one's mutated Potato-Mix DNA than to find another similar case but with a less financially privileged person to be able to do what Jim's been doing for years.

speculation about what is wrong with jim is going to be kind of fruitless. he has a lot of shit wrong with him and is on a lot of drugs. the long/slow kind of death means countless trips to doctors and hospitals to investigate weird shit that pops up and eventually one of those ends up being the thing to take the guy down, but it is a dynamic situation so correctly diagnosing everything is a nightmare. Usually they just aim at getting the most serious thing(s) figured out.

jersh actually gave his take on this that I agree with, I forget which MATI episode maybe it was the one where he covered ralph's "takedown" of legal mindset but basically WWE and the sektur have a lot of similarities. I don't understand the weird irrational hate towards Jim. He is one of the most harmless people in The Sektur. Jim doesnt phone people's family, he doesn't brigade, he doesnt flag, he doesn't do anything to negatively impact people's lives. All he does is make a "look at this weirdo" video, states verifiable fact, gives an opinion and for whatever reason this infuriates many people.

I also don't understand the denial of his poor health. Considering the state of the US healthcare and food industries, many people experience similar unexplainable issues whether as a result of poor hygeine, poor diet, addictive substances, unknown harmful substances in food the FDA does not regulate, the fucking water supply of the US being contaminated with all manner of harmful substances, etc. Americans often don't cook from scratch and healthcare rarely finds solutions, they just pile on pain killers and antibiotics. It is sad, but that is the state of things. So for people to bash him because of his health is just so bizarre.

To be honest, I think a large part of why Jim's body is falling apart is because of the barbaric chemotherapy and radiation. At first, Jim seemed quite healthy and that has quickly degenerated within the past two years. All these tests are not helping him or gotten him closer to a solution. I hope my brother in Christ gets the genome sequencing and a respectful autopsy report before he passes, hopefully many years from now.

Besides the cigarettes and soda, it is not ascertainable what Jim's living conditions are like but his anime room looks organized and clean so one must assume the rest is as well. I hope he finds the cause and recovers.
