I work in the industry and have had to take a couple trips out to CA for onsite stuff and I can confidently say it's a shit show. I genuinely don't see how someone can live there and cope anymore, it's just too fucking expensive. I was there for maybe 1 1/2 weeks at the longest and even with all the corporate discounts and "free services" places literally have to offer, the trip still cost $3.5k, and this was mid tier logging without a rental car. One thing you'll notice is that the entire place is propped up on immigrant labor and families who have lived in the same homes for multiple decades due to rent control/getting in before the fall.

This sounds just like Canada, we are basically California but as an entire country.

That name shows up on an org chart for the IT department of the district, and there’s a Robert Santellan who commented about an event at Alder Middle School in 2011, which is in that district. I could be wrong, but the commenter looks a lot like Tipster. (Apologies if any of this is old news, I just did about 5 minutes of searching on my phone while taking a work break.) Even if he did have some job where he's not in a back room 99% of the time, he's skeevy enough that warning bells would be going off for most high schoolers. In my life experience having seen plenty of news stories about pedos, broadly there are 2 groups. One group looks kinda normalish so they end up with access to kids in real life through getting married, girlfriends with kids, occupation with direct contact with kids and so on. These ones often are arrested for physically abusing children, but often get away with it for a while since they come across as fitting into society.

The other broad type is the obviously creepy dudes who no one would willingly trust their kids around. These are the ones who are usually caught because of CP or online acts.
