I was watching this clip from a couple of years ago and it never really struck me how mid-Atlantic Gavin sounds. He still sounds like Gavin but he sounds "off." I can't put my finger on it. Maybe the vowels?

I know I'm stating the obvious - he's been living in the US for well over ten years - I just never noticed it before. When he says "branch" and "Holy shit!" that's the most American I've ever heard him sound.
Well, the audio is really weird in that video. They've all got a terrible case of NPR-voice and post-"loud is what we do" blowing out of the mics to boot. None of them sound like they do in the older videos I've been watching.

That aside, yeah. Gavin almost sounds like Jeremy there for some reason.

He'd better put it to work filming cuckold porn with his wife then. Only way that's going to bring in any dosh.
If Meg is able to make money on Onlyfans, so can Caiti. With better results I'd say.

I really am waiting for the NDA’s to be voided so we can get horror stories from Ray and others. Ray is now a land lord so he’ll never have to deal with the horseshit in “the industry”.
I don't watch Ray but I get the impression that RT is barely a blip in his rear-view mirror. I don't see why he'd want to dredge it all up again over a decade later.

They probably have more talent than the combined user base of subhuman scum that is Kiwi Farms
I’ve made an op for people to talk about RoosterTeeth without dipshits like you saying we can’t. I’ve scoured for as much of their antics that I could possibly save for people to know what utter shite they’ve become.

Meanwhile your only contribution to this website is the fact we know you have a tiny penis.

I’m at the point that if Ray wanted to say anything he could have by now without consequences. I don’t think the RT lawyers are even going to bother.

At the same time, I could go on without knowing the worst that happened to Ray because I don’t think he even wants to think about it. The man has far succeeded better then anyone else in achievement Hunter, in my opinion… besides Gavin.

I don't feel like Ray is the drama type, so he probably won't ever talk about any of it.
Ray seems like your typical dude that got a job at his dream vidya company, but then got a peek backstage at the egos and corporate greed then noped the fuck out.
Ray is also massively successful (especially compared to RT) and has spent the better part of fifteen years trying hard to distance himself from RT and AH, why would he throw all that away now? Especially since he's pretty much succeeded in doing so? His current crop of streaming fans obviously know that he's Ray From AH but isn't who he is on stream, if that makes sense, he's broken away enough that his current continued success as a streamer is entirely divorced from his days at AH. Unless anyone sincerely believes that his entire fanbase are legacy Ray fans from the old days.

I dont even see why he would. Its been over a fucking decade since he left AH. not only that, he outlived AH, LP and RT itself too. If he didn't let loose about what made him leave when he first left, then hes never gonna say shit. Unless he releases a biography or something but I can't fucking imagine how boring a book that would be.

I don't know if it was that per se. What little Ray has said on the topic, it seems his frustration with AH came from having to play the same 2 fucking games for 8 hours a day everyday. Plus imagine having to play that same scenario in a given game over and over again because AH was too fucking stupid to abandon the Xbox version of Minecraft the second they could so it would crash almost constantly. As gay as it is to complain about your job playing video games, I'd probably also go insane if I had to play the same shit that much for that long.

I do believe he also mentioned genuinely enjoying playing those random one off games theyd do on occasion (I think I remember a specific example which was that top down Tomb Raider game that randomly came out a long time ago) but since those didn't make that much money vs Minecraft/GTA they stopped doing them.

I imagine you can stack that with the fact that Achievement Hunter shifted its focus almost entirely to Lets Plays instead of achievement hunting which is something to this day Ray still enjoys doing (He quite literally streams childrens games like Paw Patrol and Bluey just to 1K them) Plus when they arbitrarily decided Ray couldn't stream on his RT Ray account and seized it for company interests, I imagine that ticked him off quite a bit. It was just a lot of things adding up for him so he called it quits. Maybe getting the head of streaming job at AH would've made him stick around a bit longer back then but they decided to give that to a crony hire instead.
