Nexpo/YT Horror Channels - Do they all suck

New Fascinating Horror. Was pretty good.

New Dire Trip.

Hoo boy, this is a doozy. It's Elliot Rodger if he was weeaboo. That aside, his mother seems stereotypically Asian. Abusive tiger parenting, completely fucked the guy up for life. AFAIK, Rodger was moreso a spoiled sped with irresponsible parents.

On behalf of weebs, I apologize for this fucking one. Fucking Akiba....(For the uninitiated, Akihabara or Akiba for short is a neighborhood in one of Tokyo's wards and is known as weeb paradise)

Unrelated but IIRC, Japan does have an issue with recluses and weebs being so deeply engrossed in weeb shit that they disconnect from reality and having a normal life. Mental illness, shit aspects of culture, parental shit, academic/occupational pressure; there are a lot of reasons for this.

At "best", they jerk off to Hatsune Miku. At worst, they become this guy.

i really enjoyed these two:

i haven't seen much like this, wish theres more.
like true family tragic stuff kinda. plus japsen.
since we humans are the worst monsters anyway.

the no longer human book review was also really nice.

tribetwelve is the best slenderman series, which isnt saying much as it still has expectedly bad acting, but at least it has some cool scenes and the way the observer, noah, and the audience interacted with each other was much more interesting than marblehornets
the editing in the videos where the observer and firebrand are trying to talk to noah are cliched but i like the visuals nonetheless
Unfortunate because Tribetwelve will never be done. Adam fell down the rabbit hole of YouTubers who dm their fans. As usual, she was a minor, and his editor cancelled him for it. However, he posted a summary for how the remainder of the series was supposed to go and Adam hasn't been around since. Apparently Heather from DarkHarvest had something to do with the grooming. If I'm not mistaken, she outed it, tried to set him up, or encouraged the girl to dm Adam more. Apparently she had a giant hate boner for the guy and is a bit of a cunt irl.

The problem is many Slenderman series went incomplete. However, the big ones MarbleHornets and Everymanhybrid are done. Supposedly DarkHarvest00 is supposed to finish this year too. There was a Livestream where the creator stated they were going to do a finale and it should be out this year. Take that with a grain of salt.

I love Junji Itos work. Even if some peopl say the stories themselves aren't exactly "good". I should watch the video to see if Wendi has a dogshit opinion on his work or not.

Unrelated but I don't know how hardly anyone mentions Spookyrice in this thread. He covers disturbing movies and comics.

Old video but his content is really good and fits the theme of "Horror YouTubers" moreso than true crime YouTubers.

Also has anyone found any smaller channels that they enjoy? Also rest in peace Chass and every other Greentext channel that just gave up on making content for some reason.

IIRC, Marble Hornets wasn't concluded. Troy abandoned it and started working on Clear Lakes, which he later also abandoned.
I think you're getting Clear Lakes 44 confused with MH. MH ended and everything was wrapped up nicely - hell it's gotten a continuation in comic form explaining who "Skully" was. Clear Lakes 44 was gonna be made by the whole THAC (Troy Has A Camera) crew - plus their newest member who was shaping up to be the main character, the birdwatcher guy who walked with a cane. THAC imploded right after the episode where ToTheArk reappeared in CL44 because of creative differences and money issues, then Troy took what he was trying to make CL44 and molded it into ECKVANET, which I think is still ongoing but it has moved slow as shit.

Saiko! The Large Family felt like a really long The Day Today sketch or maybe something made by aliens
i couldnt stop laughing when the girl kept throwing dishes at her dad whenever the family had dinner together, plus the really stilted delivery from the australian woman, the shots hanging on for too long, bizarre music choices (like twinkle twinkle little star for some fucking reason), and the goddamn outro made for a very surreal experience

Late af, I know.
1. As posted already, not two people agree how a fucking Chupacabras looks. Is dog with mange, spiny grey alien looking ass or something in between.
2. Even among latinos the joke goes that the Chupacabras was a lame government made answer for what was killing cattle since the alternative is believing every single rancher happened to live near a satanist narco.

I'm surprised at the restraint of a breadtuber fan not going for Hall's Warlock instead. Not to mention what adds to Blood Meridian being fucked up is that is a fictionalised account of shit that did happen.
Chupacabra is actually a furry in a skinless alien/dog fursuit trust me

Haven't seen anyone in this thread post this yet, so here's an analog horror video that I came across a while back.

Place your bets as to whether or not it degrades in quality like most big analog horror series.

I heard about it, and it just seems too cliche. I know the irony in saying that, being a fan of so many, but it's fucking...some kids got boiled while watching a show. A spooky, boiled-lookint guy was seen in between frames, whispering sweet-nothings.

Anyway, Vinesauce Vinny has another stream showcasing weird recordings. I thought it was spooky, and kinda neat. His other stream showcasing Numbers Stations was good, too.

Right from the start there's instructions involving a bible. More 'horror' tangentially involving christian religions. Wow, such creativity. My interest dropped below zero.

Also, what a lazy video. It would be WAY cooler if they made the TV show episodes about nature as normal videos on youtube. Then, a video saying the narrator died, and then, some time later, the "mysterious" broadcast with mr. generic creepypasta soyface out of nowhere, without any explanation. The morse code shit is ridiculous btw.

What wasted potential. Idiot zoomers don't seem to understand that horror is on the UNKNOW. If you explain too much it becomes tame. That's why I liked what Kane Pixels has done with the backrooms; even the in-universe explanations were incomplete or puzzling.

Unpopular opinion: I don't really think the backrooms work as horror. All of this "fear of the unknown" around some yellow looking hallways isn't immersive or interesting in any way shape or form. Even though i agree the community went a bit insane with the sheer quantity of levels, i still prefer the version that has levels and survivability, the backrooms as some kind of Sci-Fi dystopian dimension is the best thing that couldve happened in my opinion.
