This whole thing was actually much longer, but no wonder they cry when people don't wanna draw their pock people. Also did you know that if you wanna like ninja turtles attractive you have better to count how old they are canonically or you are literally a pedophile because cartoons = real life and ninja turtles = real kids.
I'm almost positive the skin changing colour when you're dead is due to the Overwatch halloween skins, one of the characters, Symmetra, who is Indian has a vampire costume and grey-ish skin. People flipped their fuck about whitewashing, and there's a huge fuss going on about vampires being dead and what that means about skin.

It's a vampire skin...I assumed the paleness was a play on the "totally drained of blood = totally drained of color" look.

It's extra baffling to me, considering that Overwatch already has a "all brown people are the same" kinda stance. There is a skin that turns an Egyptian woman into a Native American and another skin that turns an Australian with a tan into a Polynesian, complete with culturally-tied tattoos.

Plus, it's a social media account. The people behind them have to represent the interests of the company. If they talked about stuff that either went against what the company wanted, the game's canon, etc., then they would be fucking fired.
It's like how the Dennys blog is all harmless shitposting. Corporate doesn't give a shit about what you whiny brats want, they care about what the greater audience who actually buys games and DLC and such wants.

Edit: The whole "disregard canon, gain representation" stuff has always annoyed me on the grounds that it comes across as canon not being good enough for them. Even though canon often portrays close friendships between characters of the same sex and the like. When canon has close friendships aren't stereotypical bros being bros between two dudes it completely deconstructs the whole "toxic masculinity" they whine about. But do they appreciate that? Nah, the bros are totes gayballs they don't make the rules but expect it to be law in fandom.
-That and SJW headcanon usually fucks the entire reason the series was great in the first place.

I will never understand how such a cynical lot can be so incredibly naive. Like yeah, big shocker, Bioware probably doesn't give a fuck about your faggot alien representation, or indeed the story and world in general, they're just trying to move enough units on launch day to make the project a worthwhile investment.

If nothing else, this really illustrates how negatively focused the whole mindset over "queerbaiting" actually is.
Rather than thinking that canon LGBT characters are a nice bonus ("This game is great AND there's lesbians? Score!"), they say that a lack of LGBT characters subtracts from the quality of the work ("This game isn't as good as it could have been because there are no lesbians. Boo!"). The glass is always half-empty. They will never, ever be satisfied until everything they like has the representation they require in order for them to truly love it, and they're only setting themselves up for disappointment.
Such a self-defeating mindset will always ensure, however, that there will always be something for them to bitch about.
