I liked Prophet, and his other comics, and he seems normal (for a comic book artist) in interviews and podcasts. He's had 'true and honest' women girlfriends in the past, so he isn't exclusively a chaser. His current 'girlfriend' just posts pictures of them going to art shows and comicbook shops, and doesn't push any troon or political shit. A rare non 'crazy' transgirl.

The market has dropped out with the combination of the various cinematic universes, video games, and manga eating up the space traditional American comics used to occupy. So while cape and cowl comics can sell okay, awareness, let alone interest in mature audience oriented, non-superhero comics is thin at best.
