That’s a thought that entered my head too but you have to also consider that people who just decide to commit suicide because of a chaotic shitstorm are not in the best frame of mind.

I dunno who this is nor to I care enough to look into it further, I'm also not reading all that drivel. But I am forever amused when people freak that 17 year olds have relations with older guys. Yes, 17 is above the age of consent in every country in the world, and only in like 9 US states is it 18. It's not rape or 'inappropriate' for adults to have relations with other adults. I don't think it was the specific things getting revealed as much as the fallout. He felt his life was over at that point and that there was no coming back from it. Given how internet mobs and cancel pigs behave, he was probably right. If he'd stopped to take a breath, he could have switched careers or built himself back up slowly but his life as he knew it was over. People were harassing his family. His friend publicly severed ties. His reputation was gone. It is enough that a guy who can't handle it has his life thrown into such chaos without there being secret worse things.

You could probably write a thesis paper connecting mental illness to drawing comics. So far all that's come out is that he made an ugly comic whore slightly uncomfortable in DMs several years ago and then nothing came of it. For a comic nerd, he seems practically stoic.
