hlo fellow kiwi farm i have been going thru issue in recent where downstairs i hear like, quiet screaming??

How are guzman morning today I do not exactly know how to exactly describe the sound but it sounds like an animal?? kind of like crying?? I know that sounds cliche and stuff but its kind of like that sound a window makes but coming downstairs from your kitchen and more like animal like?? like wind a little bit?? whenever I go downstairs the sound stops.

I have two dogs and while the sound is 'dogly' in nature I dont exactly think its the same its like crying?? I keep on hearing it and its very time specific I never really hear it before dark and it gets like progressively louder if I dont check it, not loud enough to greatly disturb me but loud enough to deter me from rest or bed everytime I check it just, stops? for like 2 or 5 minutes or if im lucky the entire night and it only starts around 8pm-1am anyone else experiencing this issue? any fix?

Its morning now, but if it helps I could record the sound maybe in like 7 hours or 9 depending when it starts again, it creeps me out.

anyone else experiencing this issue?

I hear insane cackling and horrifying demon screams outside at night pretty regularly but that's just the pack of coyotes that roams the neighbourhood. Right now it's frog season though so I've been falling asleep to a chorus of frog song for the last few weeks.

I deal with hearing and seeing shit a lot. For me it helps to acknowledge these as harmless entities I share a space with. Trying to tell myself it's just my brain fucking up tends to make things worse. What I'm saying is just go with the flow and it should be fine.

My guess is that it's probably a fox. One that used to live near me made sounds that sounded close to a person wailing.
