Shane Edward Nokes / @NorrathReaver / Daddy Cum Cannon - Internet Tough Guy and “Retired Cybersecurity Expert” who worked with the US Secret Service and FBI – In reality, a perpetually unemployed leech on disability benefits who threatens people on the internet all day. Raped with a butterknife.

My high IQ super genius move is updating the BIOS. Removing/Reinserting the CMOS remove/reinsert saved me the first time on my home lab. The second time involved replacing the motherboard for the gaming computer. I'm familiar with the parts/terminology, but have never been a hardware guy so I assumed I was going to fuck something up the entire time. Then the screen came up and all was right in the world. At some point, updating the BIOS will provide a benefit and I'll be leading the charge.
The one time I had to replace BIOS chips (those ones with the centipede legs) was thanks to the Chernobyl virus, a really nasty virus in the '90s that actually bricked the motherboard by flashing the BIOS (on select boards) and zeroing out the first 1K of the hard drive, basically destroying the system. Of course it was a chink who did that. You could at least rescue the motherboard by swapping out the chip.

Yeah, I actually read that it was an option and made the attempt, which led to the motherboard replacement. Here's how it went:

1) Bought some cheap chip on either Amazon or Ebay and a soldering iron. (Probably totally legit and nothing bad could come from it. Much like bricking my phone fiddling around with some unscrupulous NFC/RFID stuff before Flipper Zero was a thing)
2) Removed previous chip.
3) Remember I hadn't soldered anything in 15 years.
4) ???????
5) "welp, time to upgrade the motherboard"

TBF, I probably could have saved it if I were more persistent, patient, and practiced soldering for a bit, but such is life.

To somewhat keep on topic, Shane should post his 1337 hax shenanigans and endear himself to his fanbase.

The only hacking Shane has ever done is trying to access that little girl’s nudes that he posted on FB that he really wanted to see. I heard from someone who’d been FB friends with him back in the day that Shane rage posted about how The Fappening’s targets were “geriatric,” asking “Where are the hymens?!”

I had an issue with 1106 in 2003 or so. Can't for the life of me remember how the system got it.

Pro tip - usually, you can find 2 pins on mobo, that you can short to clear CMOS, so you don't have to fuck around with parts like the modern sized GPUs, which cover everything

Don't underestimate BIOS updates tho, they can be very important for safety or in some cases, like Ryzen 7k series CPUs blowing up from too high voltage - fixes

Anyway, back to Mr. Xbone.

Is there any more info on Shanes head trauma? Explains his current state very well - unhinged behaviour, getting disability checks, delusions of grandeur, screaming into the void 16 hours a day

There's very little history of him claiming a TBI, that's a very recent claim and probably a lie.

The previous line was that he had "Neuromuscular Issues". During the time when he was talking to the thread on his Twitter because he's too chickenshit to post here, I guessed that he had Latent TB, and he said I had guessed right. Seeing as he later changed this claim to a TBI, which I guess he thought sounded more badass, I suspect it's true.

Not a doctor, but if you contract Tuberculosis as an infant it often goes for your brain instead of your lungs, and causes brain lesions. Those lesions (the Tubercules of the disease's name) are often full of dormant TB bacteria and can burst and reinfect you. And yes those lesions can cause varying kinds of brain injury depending on where exactly they are.

Basically Shane has zits in his brain and he's embarrassed about it, so he lies and says it was a traumatic injury received helping Microsoft employees during 9/11 or something.

My money says he’s one of those parasites who get onto welfare by claiming that “I can’t breathe” due to obesity, and then tack on a whole lot of other obesity-related whines like “sore feet, can’t wear proper shoes, so can’t get a job” followed by dubious bullshit like chronic fatigue and “complex PTSD” (because OG PTSD requires experiencing actual traumatic events and not just a sad collection of micro aggressions) and the social security people hit his file with the “Get The Fuck Out Of My Office” stamp of approval, because he smells bad and won’t shut up.

I used to have to deal with these kind of tards in a previous job. It really is more cost-effective for everyone to give them some low-level taxpayer tard bucks and let them lumber back to their slummy trailer park or whatever, to drink soda, bother people online, and fantasize about being important.

Yeah imagine using a computer. I'm browsing this thread from my PS5.
Why you gotta flex on us poorfags (who have no clue what you all are talking about regarding PCs)? Got me feeling so broke I might have to start putting rows of laughing emojis in my replies where I'm clearly buttblasted.

Late and gay, but getting caught up, I just noticed this faggot is using 120 clc on his cpu LOL what a retard

Edit - adding picView attachment 5870692
So I might be both blind and retarded, but would it not be better to set the cooler to pull heat away from that radiator by having it screwed to the chassis' back instead of it pulling the hot air from the GPU into itself? (or you know, set it up on top)

Doesn't look like there's a 2nd cooler on it either, if you wanted to show your shiny ring cooler just get a non-rgb high pressure fan for the back.

Did you really just stop reading the informative post to reply?

Shane should explain how his disability forced him to stop being such an important law enforcement official and retail planner within Microsoft's Xbox division.
Shane’s memoir would be fucking hilarious. We’d get to learn about how he helped the FBI to catch and convict pedophiles as the milk monitor in elementary school before continuing his law enforcement career as pedo bait in the AV Club and the losers’ lunch table.

He unprivated his Threads at some point and this post from the day his apartment complex was doxed is up
