I wonder how this book will go down with the NAFO crowd he has, especially if Ian gives his honest and professional opinion and doesn't calls everything on the book trash.
Honestly? I don't think they're going to screech all that much. That book is going to be 1 - expensive and 2 - a few months away. NAFO idiots have a large overlap with woke idiots, and we all know these people have short memory spans rarely actually buy shit outside of cheap plastic crap. So they won't even know what the content of the book is.

Now, if he were shilling a Zhukov funko-pop, on the other hand...

It's a very loud small minority of his audience, so who gives a crap. By caring about what that segment thinks, is how you become Karl. And even those who are into "NAFO", not all of that segment is "everything Russian is awful and bad and should not even be discussed about". For the majority of "NAFO", it's a fun meme to combat Russian trolls. Which is probably why Ian wore that NAFO patch at Finnish Brutality. He thinks it's a fun meme, nothing more.

I don't really see how a factual firearms book would be seen as Ian somehow taking a stance with Russia. He has made his stance pretty clear. Just because you are against Russia, doesn't mean we should try to ignore their existence as a whole. Exclude them from the international community? Sure, more than fine by me. But to say you should not be able to release a historical book about Russian stuff because of current events? Nah.

The media is now kvetching about Brandon Herrera making a Nazi joke in one video. Okay, guess we should cancel Mel Brooks and Monty Python, too?
I'm pretty sure they were canceled already. Just silently.

When was the last time you saw a Spaceballs or Life of Brian watchalong in any lefty environment?

I just watched Herrera's testimony against the Colorado AWB bill. One of those worms asked him "why haven't you committed a mass shooting with all the guns you own?"

I'd be insulted if I were him.
I watched the short version of it, but I don't think it was coming as an insult since the question was so ridiculous to begin with and Brandon's answer to it was spot on. That intent is what really matters.

But I'm not American so I don't really know much retardation and parasitism is prevalent amongst your politicians.

Youtube kept trying to promote that tranny hoe to me like a month or two ago and I was hoping it'd gone away for good.
Speaking of trannies. Friendly reminder of Chris-Chan is pro-disarming civilians and making the FBI spying on phone calls and reading privates mandatory. Trannies has now and always been the biggest threat to the Second Amendment of the United States.

Hop put out his Moons Out Go*ns Out video and review of the Sionyx Opsin:
tldw: Its kinda shit and digital nightvision isn't taking over anytime soon.

To be fair, in general the wartime arms nobody needs in-country help for that. Tons of examples in museums and collections worldwide.

For a general purpose book, yes, I'd agree. For a good book? Hell no. Considering the ungodly amount of fuddlore that infested decades of writing about Soviet weaponry, and the fact that you kinda need to read Russian (German also helps sometimes) and import expensive books to have the best sources (was any book from Chumak ever translated in German or English or something?) good books about slavshit are direly needed. Honestly, I was excited for the Popenker book, the free version we got even if mangled was a good read.

But it's a coffee table book (and a very expensive one at that) so I can't honestly complain about it being pretty pictures and nothing more.

Karl needed Ian WAY more than Ian need troonself.
Karl's always been bad at marketing and engagement, but fairly good on presentation and content. Ian lacks on presentation (seriously, he can't get decent audio despite raking in thousands a month?) and content but excels at marketing and engagement, so he succeeds and Karl fails. together they made content that was interesting and had a wide reach but unfortunately Karl had to be a satanist commie cuckold.

anyone remember how InrangeTV was locked behind a paywall on another sight when it first started? IRTV would have died in the cradle if he had kept that up.

Wym, you don't like his tinny echoey raspy audio? It's part of the experience my man, he's tryna bring you back to how audio sounded when the guns were invented. You should be grateful he at least films in 720P these days and not a more classic black and white film camera with a piano for an auditory addition.

Fr though, I feel like for the expensive gear he supposedly has, he doesn't use it, or doesn't make good use of it. I have a sneaking suspicion he mainly uses an iPhone.....

iPhone game fan here he’d have to be using a pretty old iPhone in order to have audio quality this bad like iPhone 6-7 I think he just cuts whatever parts he does and his audio is abysmal since he doesn’t do any editing besides cuts to the next segment

Let's also not forget the Soviet (Russian) archives were only open for a very brief period post-dissolution to being gradually closed off again at the end of the early 2000s. It is literally impossible for most of us folks to take a gander behind what the Soviets themselves thought of these weapons while evaluating them, and in official reports.

Hence the warthunder sekret dokkuments meme.

The expensive shit he has requires you to know what you are doing. Which he doesn't. He could just hire a sound guy, not even for ever just for an afternoon and teach him how lapel mics work. Or he could just use a modern phone.

If you go back to.... maybe the first inrange Q&A they answer a question about why Ian's audio is so terrible, and Karl for possibly the first time looked actually pissed off, saying how he'd repeatedly offered to help with that and Ian said 'no, I have my system and it works'. Which I understand from the perspective of 'never getting home and finding out you have no audio' but come on.
