Steve was on prior to tripod gate, like just prior he fucked off during Daryl Brooks. I remember that he talked about recently being confirmed during that time and taking Stephen as his Confirmation name (effectively a saints or beautified persons name for you to try to model yourself after, it’s part of the final initiation rites and sacraments for Catholics).

I think he never was Confirmed until fairly recently and was some version of non-denominational. I’m a bit more zealous about Church history of the East and West and Philosophy of both due to having atheists friends in Highschool who gave me shit for being religious. They watched fags who debated Evangelicals and Young Earth Creationists. I really dislike preachers who do the “Here’s how to be a good fella” preaching rather than why am I here, why do people suffer what I assume is unjustly, why does life insist, what is good and why is God good?

There’s philosophical questions that religion tries to answer. Gosney probably has grappled with some moral issues as a guy trying to stop his clients getting the chair/ noose/ gas, but he’s terrible at expressing it if he has.

Nick has no insight on these questions, PPP can probably tell you the basic shit he doesn’t understand (I think PPP believes Paul is legitimate so he’s not a terrible start, Red Letter Christians suck btw).

I know it might be a bit of an ask but does anyone have the 2022 numbers for the months? from what i remember Nick was barely tolerated here in march of 2023. i'd imagine the depp trial era Nick was making such an absurd amount of money that he probably made more in one day than he does all month now.

I don't know if its been said, but Nick being forced into marriage and kids at such a young age meant he didn't get to do all this stupid shit at a more appropriate age, like imagine he never met his wife during his college days, he could do his swinger/pua/athiest bullshit then move on.

Like Dick Masterson was doing the same shit Nick is doing now, but a decade ago when people were still fine with it (and he didn't involve kids yet) Nick missed the boat hard,

PPP has issues with the Catholic Church, and said as much back when he was on Nick's show in 2020. Back when people, including PPP, presumed Nick was a genuine Catholic.

However, something like that is almost quaint to talk about now. Nick's Easter stream wasn't about relatively minor details that varry among different Christian sects. We're at the point where he's mocking important fundamental concepts that are intrinsic to Christianity as a whole.

Like, he didn't say that Jesus died on on "torture stake," instead of a cross, as Jehova's Witnesses (a "reformist" sect) believe. Instead, he said things like Jesus was meant to rule as a mortal King, and him dying for man's sins was never part of the plan.

That's not congruent with any form of Christianity. Previous to this, he had also said Jesus was "just a man."

My point here is I think anyone who is a Christian... any type of Christian... would have pretty big issue with what Nick said.

We have freedom of religion in America, and Nick is free to believe whatever he wants, but it's pretty clear to me, based on his own words, he's not a Christian.

I believe Nick lives in the USA, not Turkmenistan. I really don't think he has been kidnapped and held hostage, tortured and starved everyday, up until he gave up an married the goblin. I also don't think he went through a similar thing everytime he was about to conceive each of his 5 children.

Yes he should've totally been a godless manwhore and accumulate ALL known STDs and ruin his body with drugs and booze, and only think about marriage and children when he's like 35, that would fix it. He would be normal now lol

Did anyone here ever like Unbreaded? Towards the end of my time watching him as a fan, he just seemed to work as hard as he could to make his show worse, even before the degenerate cat was out of the bag.

First there were the insufferable toasts that we had to sit there every couple minutes, but then there was Unbreaded, which was never funny to me. I did like the initial explanation of who the guy was, but after that, the interest disappeared, and I'd change to something else every time that segment started.

I can't imagine anyone being "oh FINALLY. More toasts to strangers, and Unbreaded, Just what I wanted at 2AM."

I know way more people who "have stories from their wild years" but moved on, usually its when they're teenagers. John Mulaney didn't seem to understand why people were so forgiving of him being a drug addict back when he was in school but being sober once he graduated and its because people understand people can go nutty but get it out of their system. Most of the best albums of the 1980s are from bands realizing their limits and getting sober and knocking one out of the park.

I think the point was that Nick acts the way he does now as overcompensation from believing he "missed out" on his formative adolescent and early adult experiences as a result of being a Dudley Do-Right (which by his own account does not seem accurate as the way he tells it, he was always a sex weirdo, albeit a closeted one, but let's assume that's true). If he had actually lived through those years as a normal person instead of an intense state of personal repression, he would not be binging and acting out now as a way to try to desperately recapture the past he "missed out" on.

There actually was. Back then his discord was still up and there were people who would pop in the discord and ask in the stream channel and ask if he has done 'today's unbreaded' yet and then talk like they will check out the show they missed but only the unbreaded part, like some kind of autist. Then again, nick's discord was FULL of people fucked in the head. Think spiritjunior but dozens of them. Or multiple andrew wahoos. :story:

If we would talk about almost anyone else, I would maybe agree with you.
But Nicks' favorite story from college that he told repeatedly was that he was a male cheerleader and had underwear parties with other male cheerleaders, and like 3 girls. He said he was addicted to porn since when he was a teenager. There was something wrong with him way before he got married. Had he continued on that route without a disruption in form of marriage and children, we would know him from "Trannies posting their Ls" thread by now.
When it comes to drinking booze, it is usually something people limit naturally as they grow older - just because they start to get really bad hangovers that linger for days, and they have to drive the car in the morning, and they notice that others begin to look down on them for being constantly in the party mode.
And I suppose if you're an alcoholic, none of it matters anyway, and you will keep drinking regardless.
But when it comes to sexual degeneracy, i believe that there is no "getting it out of system". Porn addicts get bored with normal thing, so they keep digging lower and lower just to find that magic coom. It never stops.
