I do love when people try to OD on Ibuprofen. One of my worst experiences in health care was in paeds. A rash of 14-year-old girls who ODed on Tylenol.

It’s an effective method of dying. But horribly, painfully, and prolonged. In one memorable case she was awake, aware, and crying. She wanted to live. Regretted taking the pills. Said it was a stupid response to being dumped by a stupid boy. But it was too late.

She spent 8 days in hospital begging and praying to live. By the end she had no actual memory of having overdosed and couldn’t understand why she was dying. Her own parents stopped hoping for recovery by day 4 and were begging for it to be over quickly. It was agonizing to witness.

Sleepovers and slumber parties are still pretty common, it's an easy way to offload your kid onto someone else for a day while knowing they'll (probably) be okay.

I'm pretty sure we have gotten to the point where they don't even put effort into it anymore. It's something that I've noticed as of late. They barely put forward anything to defend their dumb ideology.

Keeping up with all the tranny science, schpiel and etiquette must be really draining, especially when you know it's not true and everyone is more openly anti-trans than ever before.

Previously, when the idea of male/female brain wasn’t publicly debunked or demonstrated as misunderstood, that’s what they seemed to think backed them up.

It also seemed that they were expecting the syndromes which gives people a resistance to testosterone or other anomalies to be announced to actually be far more common than previously thought or something.
That’s the impression I got when they claimed that scientists back them up, but they didn’t explain what the specific science they meant was.

Most recently, the few holdouts who try a scientific angle refer to gubbins like intersex or clownfish and other species which do change sex as evidence.

Currently, it really has no biological backing, the neurological backing isn’t what they hoped and this only leaves the psychological, which while not generally disputed, they still don’t want to solely rely on it as obviously it’s hard to completely separate it from mental illness.

is there somewhere in the (presumably US) where boys don't have sleepovers?? everything listed except makeup was a standard boyhood experience where I grew up

More evidence they are autistic? And maybe only children.

Even if a kid is a literal friendless, they usually get invited to a sleepover or experience one that siblings host or get invited to, especially if they are the younger.

Before I get ree-ed at, a lot of autistics don’t go to sleepovers because they have complex personal rules on bedtime or sleeping arrangements.
So it’s not that they don’t get invited, it is that they turn down the invitation.

Personally I didn’t sleepover at local friends places. It was easier just to go home, but I experienced many sleepovers at friends who lived elsewhere.

I very much doubt any of these men posting this fantasy would have expressed a desire for a sleepover they didn't get as children. This is all retroactive framing based on their sexual fixations and the alienation they feel as adults. They feel depressed and unhappy, and they think of transforming into woman and girls a lot, and they rationalize this as being because they "missed out" on formative experiences that would have allowed them to be well-adjusted.

It's a sexual fetish, sure, but it's also a coping strategy that nicely places the blame for all their problems outside of their own actions as adults. Never need to make the effort to change if the reason you fucked up your life is the irreparable damage not painting your nails with your pre-teen friends did to you.

This seems like a good explanation of it.

Also seen it talked about here that troons just have a very idealized/fantastical view of the other sex. like they don't realize that if they had been born a woman it's very likely they would have just been an awkward, unpopular girl who didn't go out much or get much attention from the opposite sex, much like their experience as a male.
