Inactive Byuu / byuu_nyan / setsunakun0 / Near / David Ginder - "Non-binary" furry programmer who wrote a Super Nintendo emulator, tried to blackmail Null into removing his thread, and is probably actually dead lol

Let's just pin this one on Doxbin,
I don't like poking fun at the dead, I honestly believe someone got in his ear, coerced him, if you are going to kill yourself, why not take out someone that is 'killing us all', you would be the hero of women [you will never be women] everywhere, immortal forever...

This is too good not to post.

3. we dont know how many unfounded emails claiming something or other he gets, so it might be tiresome to mention every claim he receives that he doesnt 100% trust

still a "i got a document that might prove byuu's suicide wasnt faked but im trying to get verification" at some point wouldve been nice
You answered yourself about the why he didn't share this. Not only would he have had forum members at him to release it, with absolutely no guarantee that it was genuine.

The mentally ill deviants would have twisted it, giving their backers even more reason to keep funding their 'on the right side of wikipedia' attacks against him and the forum.

Sometimes you just have to err on the side of caution.

Going back and reading his emails really makes him look even more manipulative and shortsighted now more than ever. Every email contained at least one picture of the rope he’d use to kill himself, even when suicide wasn’t the main topic of conversation. Every chance to threaten it he took, and the most enraging part was when he says that he’s 100% serious and “totally, never ever threatened suicide online before”. Although I’ve always respected Josh after reading this quote from the byu emails.

“What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?”
looking back at null's post made me realize the rope is already tied to the door knob, and someone a while back translated the japanese autopsy report (I think it was the autopsy report) and said that it was noted he killed himself with the door knob.
Dude already had everything set up ready to go from the first photo he sent.

Suicide is always a choice, and he made his choice; we didn't do shit. I feel nothing, and will continue to feel nothing a week after this is done. Anyone playing the moral high ground can go the fuck back to reddit and buy more of their stock where they belong. You don't entertain suicide baiting; baiting the rope is always a sign of how little you care about collateral on the people who have to pick up your mess because you're such an immature piece of shit to begin with.

Fuck that faggot for all the misery he's caused us and the internet as a whole by giving a weapon to every rotten tranny and media whore with enough opportunistic drive to fuck with us, rot in hell.

He last went to work on the 24th of June 2021, which was a Thursday - and didn't show up to work on the 25th, the Friday.

His first email to Null is June 26th at 12:59 PM. Assuming Null was in Central European Daylight Time, that would have been about 8PM on Saturday night in Tokyo. There's a back and forth over the next couple of hours, and Byuu sends an email at 2:51 PM, which would have been nearly 10PM on Saturday night, further detailing his credentials and suggesting he could work for KiwiFarms as a coder. One last email was June 27th at 3:12AM, about 12 hours later, where he claims "I've already taken several codiene and intuniv to crash my blood pressure, and now I'm getting myself as drunk as I can." That would have been 10:12 on Sunday morning in Tokyo.

His farewell messages to Blumier, where he says he's already taken "ten codeine and ten intuiv", are at 10:46 on Sunday morning in Japanese time.

The police report references his suicide call taking place shortly after 11AM, although the Google Doc claims 11:45AM. He stops speaking on the call after half an hour (which would match up with the estimated time of death being approximately 1PM, and police visiting the apartment that evening speculating the power was off - no lights would be on in the daytime). Null didn't reply until 12:18 PM his time, which was 7:18 PM Japan time, and publishes them at about half past the hour. Byuu was dead long before these emails became public (in fact the police were seemingly trying to get into the apartment at the time these were published).

So I think the whole thing does basically show a timeline of Byuu hitting rock bottom and skipping work on Friday, potentially spending Saturday getting wasted and tying a noose before trying to send a Hail Mary to Null, then waking up on Sunday morning to find that Null hadn't replied to his bargaining email about potentially coming to work for KiwiFarms - and so deciding to start overdosing before finally getting blitzed enough to go through with the hanging a few hours later.

In terms of what could have triggered it? We'll never really know. The zoophiles argued about "Blumier getting harassed for child grooming" being the root cause, and plenty of people would say it was this thread (which was inactive). I think a contributory factor could have been Nintendo. They'd successfully prosecuted RomUniverse with the ruling being announced in March 2021, and they launched a case against Gary Bowser/Team Xecuter in April 2021 (who manufactured hardware that let you pirate Nintendo games), and won a lawsuit in May 2021 against 1fichier for hosting Nintendo ROMs (although that then went to appeal) and the court case against Uberchips (which also manufactured hardware that allowed you to mount Nintendo games) was in its final stages. Since Cyber Gadget was employing Byuu to make their "Retro Freak" gaming console and he was actively ripping ROMs into his preferred format from old games - could be Byuu was also getting stressed out they'd come after him?

Loneliness is reported to be a big factor in many suicides.

He was an awkward dude who didn't seem to fit in anywhere, earned money working in solitude from home, was estranged from family, had dumped his husband on the other side of the world, didn't seem to have friends, and was living in a country with a serious language barrier and with a culture that is famously reticent towards outsiders.

If he had a bad downturn in his mental health, who would have been around to a) notice and b) try to support him and get him help?

And none of his problems with his mental health etc would have seemed any better if he was chronically lonely on top.

That's what a lot of people here thought. Nintendo will ruin a persons life for the sake of of some shitty childs games that haven't changed in decades just to protect their IP. I can't fault them for that though because Japan goes hard on protecting IP's as they have to by their laws. David could have been on the hook for millions if not billions of dollars. They wouldn't give a shit if you could never pay them and that your career would be tarnished to the point you'd never get another job outside of a place like China. They'd want their supposed loss of money.

He last went to work on the 24th of June 2021, which was a Thursday - and didn't show up to work on the 25th, the Friday.

And he made his final 4chan posts I mentioned the day he skipped work (Thurs 24).

So your theory of "potentially spending Saturday getting wasted" would fit the complete 180 in mood between what was seen on 4chan vs chat with Blumier.

And the third option, that being whatever if any role his "friends" (self-identified) played. Hard to say what that is, but something is still off between them using David as a useful political talking point and in particular Hector being so prominently dishonest/evasive during the entire fiasco.

And I stand by that conclusion, because the FOIA documents confirm that no last will or suicide letter were left.
You did great work with that because now we know 100% certain that Marcan/Hector faked the suicide note of a recently deceased acquintance. just so he could get asspats and raise his own profile online. Truly monstrous behaviour.

I wonder if Null and the Farms will eventually find out if Dobson roped as well or not. I am still waiting for the day he shows up in a feature.
He's been gone so long I wouldn't be surprised if he died in a car accident or something. I doubt he would hurt himself though.

Of all people, even more than Byuu, I'd think Dobson would be one we'd find out pretty quickly had died, seeing as it would have probably happened in the U.S. and it would be just the bureaucratic mistakes of that country to wait through. I don't know enough about the Dobson story to know if he was so estranged from family he wouldn't even get an obituary as in Byuus case. I just don't see him slipping through the cracks specially since his disappearance happened even further back.

can anyone tell me what he did that was so bad where he abandoned his social media altogether and had other emulator devs hating him for? He just seems like a regular tranny furfag, the thread jumps from "yes i made dumb choices" without clarifying what they are to "i'm going to extort Null and neck"

Ooooooooh
I called it, they tried to gayop his suicide and blame us.
I FUCKING CALLED IT.
No wonder these fuckers are so quiet.

My next bet is: they tried to blame it on us because it was actually their fault.
Unless I’m missing something, the person corresponding with Null was Byuu (right?) and he did literally say “this is on you” and that he was doing it because he was irrationally obsessed with the existence of the thread.

So if other parties were blaming it on kf afterwards, that’s hardly a lie is it.

Why would you think that? The latest document drop proves that he ghoulishly sat by and listened to Byuu die, and wasn't even the first person to contact the authorities despite that.
That was NOT Hector, who just shared the Google doc with that bizarre tale of ghoulishly waiting and listening to some French metal music until he was certain the guy was dead, then waiting a couple more hours to be sure so he could go tell the Internet about it before the police. At least that's the only motive I can think of for that behavior, which was so insanely bizarre and ghoulish that it beggared belief, but now seems actually to be true.

This is what a troon does when someone kills himself, just sits there jerking off for an hour before deciding to go to the Internet with it. And maybe, eventually, when the buzz wears off, possibly calling emergency services. With "friends" like this, who needs the Farms?
Could be Hector but with how many people were involved in tracking down this guy I find it unlikely.
A FULL FUCKING HOUR. I do not apologize for thinking at the time that this was such utterly vile, subhuman behavior that not even a troon would do it. I stand corrected.

But even so, Hector knows who that guy is (at least in the same sense that anyone knew who Byuu was) and is covering for him. Not a good look.

Really, if Hector isn't the Mad Jerker, we should find out who is. I assume that guy has gone to ground though, if not joined the 41% himself.

I maintain that, from a lawyerly perspective (not a lawyer), emphasizing the "he's not dead" angle was a terrible idea.
From a lawyerly perspective (also not a lawyer), we still don't know he's dead. His death has not been included in the State Department's list of American deaths abroad, nor is it reflected in Japan's count of dead gaijin; no explanation has been presented for why both missed it. The documentary evidence of his death has not been authenticated by the agency that purportedly produced it. The person who requested those records has no internet footprint and may be a pseudonym for another person also known only by pseudonym. There are, I guess, some witnesses--one who listened to Byuu's agonal breathing over the phone and another who claims to have somehow acquired a photograph of his body--but their claims have not been corroborated. It was all very strange, and we were right to be skeptical. If someone's still skeptical now, I don't blame them.

I think Byuu is probably dead, not because of the probative value of this evidence (which was always poor) but because ... well, look at the guy. Look at his "friends." And if I can advance a hypothesis as to why Byuu's suicide is not in the official counts, perhaps it's because the Japanese medical examiner listed his cause of death as "autopsy." The Japanese dutifully recorded Byuu as one of the many autopsy deaths that occur every year, and the Americans didn't count it at all because death by autopsy is absurd.

What were byuu's last known significant physical possessions? Just going from memory:

At one point he had the entire SNES game cart collection but I can't remember if he resold it or not.

An forum admin of the now dead AssemblerGames (game hardware enthusiast) tried to scam byuu for more money for a Nintendo branded CRT TV. I don't remember if this transaction went through or not.

Did he get his hands on that Sony/Nintendo CD system? Or was that someone else.

Everything about this guy's life and death was a shitshow. When I read the doc at first I was incredulous because I figured surely, the last person Byuu would ever speak to wouldn't be such a vile piece of shit that they would sit on a call for over an hour listening to the man hang himself and do nothing else. Apparently they would and these were the sorts of online friends that kept him company. What a horrible ending.
