my PL for the day is that I spent a fair bit of time around people attempting this & I think that like face blindness, many autists also have 'voice blindness' (deafness?). doesn't matter how much time they put into practice, they always fall back to either an ear-rending falsetto, kermit the frog attempts at vocal brightness, or breathy gay tranny-faggot voice. This compounds with the lack-of-ever-practicing found in individuals like kev of course.

I've also noticed that non trans-identified men pursuing it (for comedic effect or voice acting or w/e) tend to figure things out with much less effort.

SLPs aren't really well-equipped to teach something that has more in common with the artistry of singing than anything resembling a vocal injury or abnormality; but hey, get that bag. The exception of course is if a troon opts for 'vocal feminization surgery', one of the biggest trans surgical lies, as at most it limits pitch range (which is not the primary sex characteristic of voice, except at the extremes). They'll likely get their vocal pathway injured in the process and will need help from an SLP for rehabilitation, though they'll never fully recover from the damage.
