You bring up a good point. I saw a thread on reddit the other day, guy is married with a kid and his wife "comes out" as asexual, says she won't fuck him but he's free to get sex elsewhere. He starts dating a younger woman and after a year starts to feel bad because he and this young woman started to develop feelings for each other. A lot of stupid advice in the thread, but one person said this:

Maybe it's the other way around, they're so dedicated to their coping mechanisms that they have to convince themselves it's the mark of a truly intelligent person, and not just someone who can't handle emotional or moral complexity in a personal context.

Most people can admit to themselves they wouldn't be able to have sex with someone and not have any emotional connection whatsoever. Yet people like this, who believe they're so sophisticated and in control, they try to pretend they've outsmarted reality, and you saw that a lot with Destiny during his mess of a marriage, basically blowing off everyone who called it stupid because how would they know, he's the one in the open marriage, and most of them have not been in an open relationship ever. Ironically the thing he thought set him apart was the thing that demonstrated just how fake and empty this persona really is.

A lot of his viewers hate Kyla, because she's boring and very simpy towards Destiny. I don't particularly dislike Kyla, but she appears very little on stream so that's probably the reason. If she appeared on a daily basis I would probably start to dislike her.
One new way to shit on Erudite/Kyla is to compare Destiny's & Dan's podcast, "Anything else", to Kyla's & Destiny's podcast, "Bridges". Tiny's audience likes Dan and their dynamic, while they think he's only doing the other podcast with Kyla because she's a woman. Destiny is banning anyone who makes any comparison between the two.

Kyla didn't show up for the latest episode, which was with the Krassenstein brothers, but she left some clips for Destiny and the guests to react to, and everyone, including Destiny, thought the clips were trash and didn't provide anything.
Again, although Destiny might agree with some of the criticism, Tiny will continue to ban anyone criticising the podcast or giving suggestions because it's still the first few episodes and Erudite has been putting effort into it, which is more than most people in his life do, even if it indeed has been mostly trash.
