Most people who are under 40, (& to be fair, definitely many over that age,) do not understand the word, trauma, nor its affects. It’s not just “something they dislike” or wish didn’t happen. Trauma is used clinically as a descriptor of an emotional response to events that affect someone in such a tumultuous manner as to have great significance in their day to day life.

The example just up thread about some dude claiming trauma about being shown pictures he didn’t want to see, then the next day oversharing himself, talking about how during his first penetration his “butt opened right up,” is hypocritical.
