This year, the Sunday of the Triumph of Orthodoxy coincides with a memorable mournful date - the 25th anniversary of the start of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization's aggression against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
The tragic events that took place a quarter of a century ago are not only a sorrowful page in the modern political history of Europe showing the intention of the Western world countries to destroy a large Slavic state by encouraging and supporting nationalist separatism, but also a revealing episode of the same old struggle against the Orthodox faith and its followers led by “the ruler of this world” (Jn 12:31). Obviously, the main goal of the aggressors was to forcibly separate the Serbian autonomous province of Kosovo and Metohija – the cradle of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
The courage and resistance of the fraternal Serbian people in this unequal confrontation has once again confirmed the justice of the words said by the Holy Right-believing Prince Alexander Nevsky: “God is not in power, but in truth.”
In those awful days, I happened to be in Belgrade and see with my own eyes not only the disastrous strikes on the city, but also manifestation of the indestructible will of its residents who remained unbowed, undefeated and full of spiritual strength and dignity. Having awakened people to the historical memory, the tragedy inspired many contemporaries to return to the holy faith of their fathers, to comprehend their belonging to the Kosovo Covenant, and to feel personal responsibility for the fate of their beloved homeland and for the spiritual choice of their children and future generations.
Both in the dramatic time now remembered and in the years that followed, the Russian Orthodox Church constantly raised her voice, condemning that what had happened as “the mystery of lawlessness already at work” (2 Th 2:7) and trying to draw the world public’s attention to the crime committed with tacit support lended by Western countries to the destruction of the centuries-old shrines of the Serbian Orthodox Church with culmination in the inglorious terrible ‘March Pogrom 2004.’
I offer up prayers for the rest of the souls of the Church of St. Sava’s children who died from the bombings or fell at the hands of the extremists. Memory eternal to them.

Peter I (who incidentally adopted official the foreign coined name of Russia for Moscovy's lands) did complete the Romanov reforms of obliterating any ROC independence.
Metropolitan Onufry, Moscow's man in Ukraine did make a show a year ago of breaking ties with Moscow, but repeated police investigations uncovered how ROC church property is repeatedly used to spread Russian propaganda and support spying. Yet these ROC priests are dealt with through legal processes. Quite a few parishes have transferred to the Kyiv Patriarchate at the choice of parishioners, but it is Russian bombs which land on Onufry's churches (mostly in the east) and cathedrals (notably Odesa). Ukraine has ended the lease on certain monuments like the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra which saw precious items of Ukrainian heritage sent to Russia.

DECR Communication Service, 18.03.2024.Archbishop Theodosius of Sebastia (Patriarchate of Jerusalem) issued an appeal to all Christian Churches of the world, noting the need for an immediate intervention and support for the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, which is being subjected to unprecedented persecution by government authorities in Kiev. It was emphasised that the situation is reminiscent of what this Church faced during the communist era, while today the persecution is taking a different, extremely dangerous form.
The appeal, quoted by the website of the Russian Ecclesiastical Mission in Jerusalem, says: "Attacks on bishops, priests, monks and nuns, seizure of churches and monasteries, threats to ban the Church, which has been present in Ukraine for a thousand years and is the first, oldest and most ancient church in Ukraine. Silence in the face of persecution of this Church, led by His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufry, with bishops serving this Church with devotion and sincerity, as well as fathers and monks, is unacceptable. The people of this Church are attached to it and hold firmly to their belonging to it".
The archpastor is convinced that the oppression faced by the legitimate and canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church "should attract the attention of all Christian Churches, human rights and humanitarian organisations, as this kind of oppression is a form of religious persecution."

It is very important to demand from the authorities in Kiev to stop their aggressive activities and unacceptable and unjustified persecution of this fraternal Church," Archbishop Theodosius of Sebastia emphasised.
Addressing the faithful of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, he said, "From Jerusalem we express our solidarity with the Church in Ukraine, its bishops, priests and people. You are present in our prayers, and we pray that God will preserve you in these difficult times when you are being persecuted by a system that does not wish well for the Orthodox Church, whose target is you as followers of the original and only canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church."

Archbishop Theodosius of Sebastia is a member of the international human rights organisation "The Church Against Xenophobia and Religious Discrimination". It was established in December 2023 by a number of hierarchs and clergy of the local Orthodox Churches together with the non-governmental organisations Public Advocacy, VSI Zmogaus teisiu apsauga and European institute for religion and law, which have a consultative status within the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations.

France, Germany and many democratic countries have in the past taken action if religious organisations engage in ill willed political scheming.

IDK I just find it weird that if there carrying it for the infantry why are they strapped ontop of tanks and not being carried by trucks which would make sense.In this case I don't believe they were powered up, and were meant to be unloaded & used by their infantry once they had taken a position. Since trucks wouldn't be very survivable in the initial assault (as if it matters), they had to transport it on top of a tank's cope cage because it would interfere gun rotation piled on the engine deck, possibly with cooling as well.

They're gonna have to work on that pan/tilt speed; the slew rate couldn't keep up with a golf cart, much less a tiny, fast-moving drone.
I wonder what choke it has because tracking so slowly would demand one that's full open.... making it useless against slower/hovering drones at dropping or overwatch altitudes. With a full choke they could possibly hit those, but then forget about FPVs, and I highly doubt the thing has removable chokes anyways.
Ontop of that I'm still digging around, there videos of several tanks with these strapped on getting blown up by Drones.

Has there been any response by the rest of Christendom? The ROC raping my religion makes me genuinely mad and I'm somewhat disappointed the Constantine/Greek/etc. Churches/Patriarchs haven't released a statement.

The reason you put this retardrack on top of the tank is previous attempts to do this with more targeted frequencies (remember the "cope boobs" from last year?) were met with HARM drones that, do use the previous example, would just home in on the screeching retard - so this way the drone explodes hopefully airgapped from your tank.
and to further sperg, with equipment of that size/nature... given the low-tech it can take a few good-sized whacks, especially from weapons decided to penetrate not HE/fragment. IF you're just trying to flood channels with EMF, usually the big issue is cooling.

Tucker just had an interview with Marjorie Taylor Greene, which he prefaced with his usual spiel about how America started and is fighting a proxy war against Russia for no reason (he suggests that elites harbor ethnic hatred for Russians). He makes it sound as though we tricked Ukraine into attacking Russia. Of course, both repeatedly say that we're "sending" billions to Ukraine, and Tucker repeats his nonsense about how religions are persecuted and it is undemocratic.
Also, Tucker repeats another favorite talking point: Ukraine can't possibly win because Russia has a larger population. But the Soviet Union had a proportionately larger population than Afghanistan in the 80s and still lost. He says that only Americans are brainwashed enough to think Ukraine can win. He's clearly never listened to any European leader.
But the meat of the interview is them both raging that Mike Johnson isn't doing enough to sabotage Ukraine aid. The guy who's literally held it up for almost half a year. MTG says Mike Johnson is collaborating with the Democrats and suggests they have blackmail material on him to keep him obedient. This is pants-on-head crazy. Tucker nods along.
(They're both also upset about uncontrolled mass immigration, which they're right to be, but this has nothing to do with foreign aid. The border is wide open not because there isn't enough money (because it's being "sent" to Ukraine) but because Biden's team wants it that way.)

Azov explaining how they captured the EW Monster tank.
It took three nights to get the tank running, and when they were driving in the dark they fell into a KAB hole. The driver almost broke his nose and blacked out for a few seconds, but managed to get out of the hole and drive home. The Russian were also shelling them the whole time.
