I didn't know that, very interesting. Some suits look way more complicated than others and I assumed couldn't be washed in a normal way. I really wouldn't know though because I don't own one (nor want one) and have never been to a furry convention. So Caden is just lazy and gross? What a shocker.

These are normally worn by therians, and are made from fox fur, usually gathered from fur farms. If you get them from one of those vulture culture people, they don't usually dye them. Dyed fur is usually a sign of a chinese fur farm, where they dye fur to hide the flaws in it like a dull coat from the foxes being, to put it simply, mistreated their entire lives. The dark tips on it are also a dead giveaway of it being real fur, as they use silver fox fur which is silver with black tips.

Now, there is always a chance Caden picked out an ethical maker who used some already dead fox, and dyed it specifically for his requirements, but it most likely is one from a fur farm. They're all over ebay, aliexpress, wish, temu, whatever. They get around the illegality by advertising themselves as faux fur but if you know anything about how faux fur looks compared to real you can tell the difference.

I don't really care about this but many furries don't support these farmed tails because they're inhumane. I just think it's funny Caden either knowingly bought real fur or didn't bother to do a bit of research into the cheap furry tail he got from Wish or whatever. He's also wearing the generic Amazon Basics skirt all trannies pick so he probably did nab the tail on Amazon.
