Higher functioning autists can develop a kinda solid theory of mind, in that they can understand that others have minds that function in differing ways to their own. But, they often have to be explicitly taught that and will still find it very frustrating when people don't behave in ways they have in the people algorithm set.
I would only be marginally surprised to hear that Tony was showing off to the cops about what awesome quality LSD he was selling and how it was literally the best ever trip but also if you have a bad trip he can hook you up with something to come down. He was probably also doing something extremely stupid and obvious to get caught, because it really takes a dunce to be a small time dealer of drugs not associated with high levels of collateral damage (i.e. drugs of addiction) to get caught. Well, at least over here it does.
Cops here generally don't go after small level dealers, even if they catch them, many areas have an unofficial policy of just not arresting them cos its too much of a faff and they know it doesn't eliminate drug use or associated crimes.

In an earlier operation, this is a related news article for it, a coordinated operation where 17 doors were put through over a few days, supply was not significantly affected. Users had to phone an extra number or two (most users have maybe 20 numbers for dealers in their phone but a few preferred ones), note the user in the article says his supply had been "disrupted" not that he couldn't score.

ETA: 2Cx are all hardcore and very different from LSD. They are powders for a start but often pressed into pills cos most people don't have reliable milligram scales, which are much needed as the effects are quite nonlinear with dose at least for some 2Cs and if you fuck up by a milligram you might not be best pleased, I'm not sure if they can be made into tabs. But someone expecting one and getting the other would be in for a ride. I'd consider passing 2CI off for LSD more unethical than selling either tbh so I'm glad he got a felony for it.

Not to be that guy, and I don't know too much about 2Cx, but LSD is also a powder and scales scales non-linearly. Most LSD doses in are in micrograms, not milligrams. Honestly 1 mg of acid is going to make you see some shit. Tabs just involve dissolved and drying on paper (preferably water soluble). That being said, most people who like psychedelics and can handle them would absolutely consider passing off one as the other as the unethical act here. But hey, when have troons ever cared?
Also, LSD is one of the easiest drugs to hide. Virtually no smell, small, looks like paper, a long onset. Unless you're also high and at some drug festival and near a superlevel dog sniffer dog, getting busted for it is some sub-80 IQ shit.
