Is it bad that I lied to my psychiatrist that I always knew I was trans???
This psychiatrist is in charge of my antidepressants and is also very very busy all the time. He talks very fast also. Everytime I have an appointment with him he always asks me like “you are biologically female right? Your name is [deadname] but you go by [actual name]?” Which is totally normal but always uncomfortable lol.
Anyway today he asked me “when you were younger, you felt like a man in a females body right?” And I was just like…..”ya kinda…”
THIS IS TOTAL LIE! I never cared 2 shits about gender as a young kid and only in late 2020 did I start experimenting with he/she pronouns. Eventually in early 2021 I started disliking being called she/her and eventually after coming out I started actually hating being calling she/her.
This doctor isn’t the one that is in control of my Testosterone so is it not a big deal than I thought it was? I just don’t like lying to doctors even if they don’t know anything about being transgender. :/

I get it. If he is that impersonal and always moving fast it would be super hard to have an in depth conversation about your gender, and it’s already a difficult topic. Doesn’t really matter too much since it seemingly isn’t what you’re there for.

It's fine. It sounds like you're not going to this doctor for counseling, so tbh the details don't matter.
