Not much tbh. Even the groups are a bit fucky with power mods who can ban you at any time. Being ban from a group means you cannot comment or create new posts for anything in that group.
Image spam was hardly a problem, there were a few idiots who posted the same meme 100 times but it was a minor problem.

Forging a Free Speech Frontier: Gab's Revolutionary Leap to Subscription-Based Survival​



As you may have heard Gab introduced a new policy this week into order to save the platform. Starting on March 1st only GabPRO, Verified, Donor, and Investor accounts on Gab can share media files. Gab is no stranger to controversy and news of this change spread like wildfire and caused a stir very quickly. As I explained in previous emails we had to solve two immediate problems in order to save Gab. The first and most essential problem to solve was the storage issue. Over the past several months Gab has been under attack, likely by state actors or activist groups, from botnet accounts that were being created with the sole purpose of overloading Gab's infrastructure in various ways.

These bot accounts would create an account and upload 5-20 gigs worth of media in a matter of hours or days. Combined with the authentic media uploads of actual users this created a cat and mouse game of trying to stop the bot accounts and expand our storage capacity every few months which took engineering time away from our other initiatives. Something had to be done to stop this. We had about six weeks left or less before our drives were full, which would render Gab offline until fixed.

The second issue is that over the past year Gab Social has been losing money. The advertising market tanked in 2023 and combined with attacks from activists this made it difficult to have advertising as our core source of revenue. It's become extremely clear both with Gab and X that running a free speech platform simply cannot be done with advertising. Activist groups like the ADL go after advertisers on free speech websites which they know is the lifeblood of the business. This is how they gained control of X and have Elon in the palm of their hand despite him being one of the wealthiest men in the world. This is why X has recently started censoring again and reimplementing pronoun policies among other such leftist nonsense.

Capitulating to the demands of the enemy in order to get ad revenue isn't an option for us at Gab. It's just not going to happen. So that left one other choice: leaning into GabPRO, our subscription-based business model. A website of Gab's size cannot exist without a significant amount of money to cover operational costs. In Gab's case we have the additional overhead of dealing with our own in-house infrastructure which costs a signifiant amount of both money and time to maintain.

So that's what we did. We solved two problems with one move by limiting media uploads to GabPRO, Verified, Donor, and Investor users.

Many of you have suggested that we delete a ton of old posts as a solution, but think critically about what that would mean. Gab is a historical repository of truth from the past eight years. Hundreds of millions of uncensored posts with the truth about covid, the vaccine, the 2020 election, World War 2, and so much more. This information exists nowhere else on the internet, it's been totally scrubbed by Big Tech. Gab is a digital library of Alexandria and I don't want to see it burn. It may be the only proof of record for the truth of these things to exist and we must protect it at all costs.



The results thus far from our decision.

In most online communities, 90% of users are lurkers who never contribute, 9% of users contribute a little, and 1% of users account for almost all the action. This is certainly true of Gab. For 90% of you, nothing on Gab has changed. In fact after speaking with many of you we are hearing that the quality of the Gab feed has improved dramatically now that bots and subversive-type accounts can no longer post media. This allows you to discover high quality content from real people much faster and easier than before because the overall "noise" in the feeds has gone down dramatically. The 1% of heavy contributors were already very likely to be PRO, Verified, Donors, and Investors so their experience hasn't changed either.

Now let me be very clear what I mean by "subversive accounts."

What I do not mean by this: free users who have been critical of our decision.

What I do mean by this: The people who are on Gab for the sole purpose of destroying this platform. Both foreign and domestic operatives whose only objective is to drive people away from Gab and destroy, divide, and defame Gab/me by any means necessary. Their time in our community is up. I'm no longer paying to host people here who want my family and my business dead. Many of them have left on their own because their operations are no longer impactful when they can't spam horrific media content all over the site. Many more are being removed as they expose themselves by breaking our policies against threats, spam, and doxxing.

Since we've made this change here is what has happened:

-All bot media file spam activity has ceased.
-There is now zero p*rn being posted on Gab. Zero.
-We are on track to cover our monthly expenses very quickly.
-Subversive fedposting and doxxing accounts have been deported.
-Our drives are filling up less quickly which buys us more time to solve the problem.
-Site traffic is up ~30% today compared to our baseline daily traffic from the past week.

Can I support Gab anonymously?


Many of you are concerned about anonymity in regards to purchasing GabPRO or making a donation to support the site and I fully understand this. As someone who has been "canceled" 100 times over the past 8 years running Gab trust me I get it, but there are options.

1. You can create a brand new throwaway Gab account and gift a PRO account to your main account by clicking the gift box on your profile while signed into the throwaway account. This way your information is not tied to your main account and you can also delete the throwaway account once you are done if you'd like.

2. Similarly you can have one of your Gab friends that you trust purchase a PRO account for you by gifting you one.

3. You can send Gab a check or money order in the mail, be sure to include your username so we know who to apply the PRO status to.

4. You can use bitcoin to buy PRO.

We greatly appreciate those of you who have upgrade to GabPRO to help make Gab possible for everyone. Sorry to keep spamming this Torba page, but I found some more information.
It's all but confirmed Torba himself is a millionaire, and gab.com/ gab.ai is worth millions or tens of millions of dollars.

Their information was hard to find because they stopped filing SEC documentation but from what I could find here are some stats.

1.) Gab fund raised around $6,000,000 in 3 rounds before 2020
2.) Gab’s CB Rank is 166,079 which is comparable to a million or tens of millions dollar companies.
3.) On their last SEC document they declared something like $20,000,000 or 10m two times, a bit unclear
4.) Gabai fund raised a few million dollars itself, despite it being this stablediffusion port which is free btw. (stabilityai-stable-diffusion.hf.space)

AI keeps telling me he has around 10-20 million, his assets are mostly undisclosed which is odd since he's all about free speech and free information. I would think the userbase should know if he's a millionaire before donating large sums to his causes.

Who recommends these boomers poa.st anyways? It's definitely not the first priority instance I'd tell them to come. It would benefit both them and graf, too, for there to be a more spread out population on the Fediverse across many instance instead of just flocking to poa.st and essentially putting more power into a single person.

I'm wondering this too. In a meeting at work this week a literal boomer I work with was talking about his debates with a friend about Gab vs. Poast. He was Team Gab.

We’re Cleaning Up Gab And It’s Long Overdue​


Gab is a platform dedicated to preserving and promoting free speech while maintaining a safe environment for all users. Balancing these two objectives can be a delicate dance, as we strive to protect the rights of individuals to express themselves while simultaneously ensuring that our community remains free from subversive bad actors who seek to destroy Gab by any means necessary.


We are waging war on the people who are on Gab for the sole purpose of bringing down the platform. These are foreign and domestic operatives whose only objective is to drive people away from Gab and destroy, divide, and defame Gab and myself by any means necessary. Their time here in our community is up. I’m no longer paying to host people here who want my family and my business dead.

After facing a barrage of threats, doxxing, and other unhinged behavior over the past few weeks I’ve come to the conclusion that these subversive mentally ill people don’t deserve the freedom of speech, they deserve to be committed. Why on earth are we giving our enemies the freedom of speech and a platform they can use to destroy us with? It’s foolishness. At a minimum these people are being expelled from Gab for good. Threats and harassment are not protected by the First Amendment and they aren’t protected by Gab’s terms of service. In the past we have been far too forgiving and lenient with giving people second, third, and fourth chances to change their behavior. That ends now.

The Previous Policy: Focus on Individual Content Removal

For a long time Gab relied on a policy that focused on removing individual pieces of content that violated our community guidelines. This approach often involved issuing warnings to users before taking action on specific posts or comments. However, this strategy has shown limitations, as some users continued to engage in threatening, spammy, and harassing behavior even after multiple warnings. This led to the ongoing presence of toxic elements within the community, which often drove good and decent users away.

The New Policy: Removal of Entire Accounts

In response to these challenges, Gab has decided to take a more proactive approach by removing entire accounts that engage in threatening, harassing, or spamming behavior. This shift in policy is a direct response to the shortcomings of the previous approach, which failed to effectively deter users from engaging in problematic activities. By removing entire accounts instead of just individual pieces of content, Gab aims to send a clear message that such behavior will not be tolerated and will ultimately lead to account termination.

We are giving no quarter to subversive accounts that exist for one reason and one reason only: to destroy Gab and our amazing community.

In order to strike the right balance between protecting free speech and ensuring the safety of our community, we must continually assess and refine our approach to content moderation. This involves ongoing discussions with users, legal experts, and other stakeholders to ensure that our policies remain both effective and fair.

Ultimately, our goal is to create a platform where individuals can freely express themselves while also feeling safe and protected from subversive freaks who want to scare them off the platform with violent threats and make Gab look bad.

As we continue to evolve and grow as a platform, we remain committed to the principles of free speech and community protection. By working together with our users and partners, we believe that we can create a space where individuals can engage in healthy and productive dialogue while also not facing a barrage of threats and harassment from subversive people who want to destroy Gab.

We’re cleaning up Gab and it’s long overdue.

I've also seen some reports of people getting banned or can't access the site, but I keep losing it in the algo because x is a piece of shit.
I checked the site and it still seems to be "up" although the account I used to use does not seem to work anymore.
Pretty crazy because last I saw a few days ago he was still pushing his bullshit with his AI.
Not sure of the timeline on this one.

Christ Is King and I Don’t Care If That Makes Me Antisemitic​


In light of Candace Owens and The Daily Wire “ending their relationship” last week after the factual statements she made about Israel and Jews, I think it’s a good time to answer a serious question from a Biblical perspective that far too many American Christians get wrong: just who are God’s Chosen People?

Pastor Andrew Isker wrote an excellent piece on the subject a few weeks ago and I encourage you all to read it with eyes to see. American Christianity has been utterly devoid of the orthodox, historical, and Biblical perspective on this topic for far too long, but thankfully many Christians are waking up to the truth of the matter.

When people like Candace Owens speak these truths and stand their ground despite being “canceled” more people come to see this truth with their own eyes. I encourage you to pray for Candace and her family because her journey in fighting for the truth has only just begun. We must stand with her against these wicked and evil people.

They will stop at nothing to silence and intimidate her, trust me I’ve lived it. The past few years have been very difficult for me. I’ve faced an onslaught of stalkers, doxxing, harassment, and credible threats of violence against my family because I dare to proclaim the truth of God’s Word on the internet in front of millions of people and provide a platform for millions of others to do the same thing. When the world is telling you that you cannot proclaim certain truths about God’s Word you have a duty and an obligation to share those truths even more. This is a requirement. You cannot pick and choose which parts of God’s Word you want to defend and believe in. It’s all or nothing.

While these trials in my own life have certainly been challenging they have been worth it. More and more people are waking up to the reality of who is really running this country into the ground. The truth of this reality cannot be contained by any amount of censorship. Candace is very brave for speaking about these things from her very large platform and we must stand with her amidst these attacks. She could have kept her mouth shut, kept her head down low, and ignored the patterns of behavior and truth that is there plainly to see, but she didn’t. Far too many “influencers” take the money and keep their mouths shut. Candace did what Christians are commanded to do: speak the truth boldly.

I don’t think many of you realize what time it is. In the past few months alone both South Dakota and Georgia governors signed bills codifying the IHRA definition of antisemitism into state law. This definition includes claims of Jews killing Jesus being “antisemitism.” Guess what that means, Christian? You can no longer share Bible verses such as Matthew 27:24-25, 1 Thessalonians 2:14-15, and many others which clearly and unequivocally state that the Jews killed Jesus Christ. The Stone Choir Podcast recently released an incredible episode on this subject. If you only listen to one podcast this year I highly encourage you to let it be this episode. You should also share it with your Pastor or Priest.

Let’s also not forget Rabbi Ron DeSantis and his recent flight to Israel to sign similar anti-1A legislation for the state of Florida making it illegal to pass out flyers in the street that Jews find offensive. Flyers that happen to contain some of these very Bible verses that I mentioned above as well as other factual and verifiable information on them.

“Communist China” isn’t doing this. “The radical left” isn’t doing this.

Red state governors are doing it at the behest of their Jewish donors and Zionist “Christians” are standing by and letting it happen.

Christ is King

For several years now I’ve ended all of my emails and blog posts with the phrase “Jesus Christ is King.” Asserting the Kingship of King Jesus makes His enemies tremble. Simply invoking His name in conversation will make them cower in fear. There is power in His name and there is supreme authority in asserting His Kingship, which is precisely why these demons are trying to prevent you from saying “Christ is King” by calling it “antisemitic.”

Shortly after Candace Owens started proclaiming “Christ is King” in front of her millions of followers many Christ-hating Jewish leaders started attacking her character on X. This is a common occurrence when prominent figures in conservative circles proclaim the name of Christ in conversation and it’s why unfortunately many Christians in conservative media circles rarely bring up their faith or talk about Jesus at all.

Candace fired back at these despicable rabbis with factual and verifiable information about the state of Israel and the nature of political and social influence that Jews have in our country. Candace’s Jewish boss Ben Shapiro didn’t like this one bit and so now she no longer works at the Daily Wire.

Following her departure a familiar narrative broke out from Conservative Inc circles. The claim that saying “Christ is King” is “antisemitic” when it is said to an unbelieving Jew. New “sins” are being fabricated from thin air not by the Christless pagans on the left, but by those who claim to be Christians on the conservative right. Andrew Klaven, an ethnically Jewish convert to Christianity who also works for the Daily Wire, did a segment on this controversy following Candace’s departure and made this claim.

His segment is so bad on so many levels. It hurts my heart that many sincere Christians will listen to this man and take what he says here seriously, but make no mistake this is straight from the pit of hell. Like many others Klaven says that those who proclaim Christ’s Kingship are antisemitic. This entire segment is about him elevating his Jewish ethnic identity above his identity in Christ. He is not concerned that the Kingship of his Savior is being attacked, he is instead concerned that his ethnic tribe is being offended by that Kingship.

He is in error and should be rebuked.

Klaven then continues to bear false witness against fellow believers in the segment by claiming that those of us who proclaim that Christ is King also believe that God has abandoned the His Chosen People and that He has broken His promises.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

None of us believe God has abandoned His Chosen People. First of all the Bible is very clear: God’s Chosen People are Christians, not unbelieving Christ-rejecting Jews (1 Peter 2:9.) God did not abandon the Jews, they abandoned Him when they killed and rejected His Son Jesus Christ. (1 Thessalonians 2:14-15)

None of us believe God has broken His promises. All of His promises were fulfilled in Christ. (2 Corinthians 1:20) There are no special side promises to unbelieving Christ-hating Jews. They missed the boat 2,000 years ago. The good news is they can still get back on the boat if they repent and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. This is Christianity 101. Stating these facts isn’t “antisemitic” and even if it was it wouldn’t matter: Christians are required to affirm these facts because this is plainly what the Word of God says. When you deny the Word of God to appease the feelings of a Christ-rejecting Jew you are sitting at a table that Jesus flipped over and denying Christ Himself.

The very worst part of Klaven’s segment on this topic is when he tells us about his “friend” Ben Shapiro. He claims that if Ben were to embrace Jesus Christ it would cause “devastation” for his life. He would be worse off. Klaven apparently believes God wants Ben to continue to reject His Son. With friends like this who needs enemies? This is madness. As Christians our heart longs for the salvation of our unsaved friends and family. My own heart longs for Ben Shapiro to repent and accept Jesus Christ as His Lord and Savior. It’s unthinkable that Klaven would say this as a Christian.

So Who Are God’s Chosen People?

Those who are in Christ, regardless of ethnicity, are part of Abraham’s seed. Those who deny the son, regardless of ethnicity, do not have the Father. Galatians 3:29, 1 John 2:23

Romans 9:6-7 states “For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel. Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children.”

In Romans 11, Paul uses the metaphor of an olive tree. The natural branches (Jews) were *broken off* because of unbelief, and wild branches (Gentiles) were grafted in. Yet there’s hope that the natural branches can be grafted back in ONLY if they accept Jesus Christ—who is the root. (Revelation 22:16)

The Old Covenant was completely fulfilled and rendered *obsolete* with the destruction of the Temple in AD 70, as indicated in Hebrews 8:13. This marks a transition to the New Covenant, which is open to all through faith in Jesus Christ

No one who rejects Jesus Christ has any covenant with God simply because of their ethnic background. “God’s Chosen People” initially referred to the Israelites but has now been expanded to include all who believe in Jesus Christ, irrespective of ethnic background. This is based on passages like Galatians 3:28-29, which emphasize unity in Christ regardless of ethnic distinctions. What are God’s people chosen for? The answer in both the new and old covenants is simple: Jesus Christ. You can’t reject Him and be part of God’s Chosen People. Period.

If unbelieving Jews aren’t God’s Chosen People then what are they?

“Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist—denying the Father and the Son” (1 John 2:22). This verse highlights that at the heart of being antichrist is the denial of the core Christian belief in Jesus as the Christ and the Son of God.

The concept also extends beyond individuals to what John calls the “spirit of the antichrist,” which was already at work in the world during his time (1 John 4:3). This refers to a broader movement or attitude that opposes or seeks to replace Christ, which is exactly what modern Jews wish to do today—thus making them antichrist.

So when they call you “antisemitic” you need to be calling them antichrist, because they are. One of those words is in the Bible, the other is made up by antichrist Jews. If that offends you, take it up with God.

Make no mistake about it: the demons attacking the Kingship of Christ during Holy Week is no coincidence, but rest assured brothers and sisters: the gates of hell will not prevail.

Christ is King, and I don’t care if that makes me antisemitic.

The Biden White House just announced a proclamation declaring this Sunday, Resurrection Sunday, as the “Transgender Day of Visibility.” This follows almost one year after a member of the trans community unleashed a wave of devastation upon Christians in Nashville that ended the lives of six of our brothers and sisters in Christ including three young children.

As Christians it is vital for us to defend the truth of God’s Word amidst the world’s descent into chaos. The Bible contains the wisdom we require to navigate our lives. Gender distinctions are explicitly outlined by God, emphasizing the distinct roles men and women have in society and in the family.
Genesis 1:27: “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.”
Deuteronomy 22:5: “A woman must not wear men’s clothing, nor a man wear women’s clothing, for the Lord your God detests anyone who does this.”
Matthew 19:4-5: “Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’?”

Christians acknowledge that every person is a sinner and in need of salvation. No one is flawless, and we all grapple with various sins and imperfections. Nevertheless, we believe that through Jesus Christ, we can obtain forgiveness, healing, and transformation into new beings.
Jesus can guide trans people in discovering their authentic identity and purpose. In John 10:10, Jesus declares, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” Trans people frequently experience identity confusion and a sense of disconnection from their “true selves.” However, through a connection with Jesus, they can find their true identity as God’s children and lead a fulfilling life. We earnestly pray that they do so.

Christians have spent the last week arguing during Holy Week about whether or not to say “Christ is King” because it might hurt a Jew’s feelings, meanwhile the Jews in the Biden White House are degrading Resurrection Sunday by declaring it a day of “trans visibility.” It’s time to get serious, Christian man. You need to stand up boldly against this evil by boldly proclaiming the Truth of what is going on. We cannot ignore reality and fail to proclaim the Truth because it hurts someone’s feelings, even our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.

Where did Transgender Day of Visibility come from you might ask? Well it was founded by Rachel Crandall-Crocker, a self-described “Jewish transgender lesbian with Tourette’s Syndrome.” These are the people and ideas that the Biden White House is elevating on Resurrection Sunday, the most Holy day of the year for Christians.
This is what “Judeo-Christianity” looks like in practice. This is what happens when you let Zionists (Jewish nationalists) run your country. This is what happens when you tolerate evil. The fundamental battle and choice of our age is simple: are you are Christian or are you a Judeo-Christian? Are you a Christian Nationalist or are you a Zionist? Is your loyalty with Christ or is your loyalty with Christ-denying Jews? Those are the options for us as Christians. Battle lines are being drawn.

You must understand what is going on here. This is a humiliation ritual. The antichrist Jews in the Biden White House are mocking Christians and more importantly mocking God and His Son Jesus Christ on the most Holy Resurrection Sunday. I’m not going to water down that truth, because you need to hear it.

They want to push us into doing something stupid or violent. I encourage you not to take the bait. We will continue to boldly speak the truth about their wickedness, but we will do so in peace. The solution is not for us to do the foolish things they are trying to provoke us into doing. The solution is to play the long game, be fruitful and multiply, build, remain faithful, and continue to proclaim the Truth of God’s Word boldly.

Make no mistake about it this will separate the wheat and the chaff in our churches. Expect it. I encourage those of you who know the truth to boldly proclaim it, come what may. I pray that the Lord will guide us and grant us the wisdom, courage, and discernment.

Anyway, I've clearly missed out on some good milk but what the fuck is going on with Gab right now? I can't access the site at all. Just getting a message saying the website is using some gay security service to "protect" itself and I need to email the site owner. I don't have an account there btw. Is this happening to everyone?

That stopped weeks ago with our blocks and so did most of the spam, bot, and subversive accounts.

We were able to hit our monthly funding goal in only two weeks last month and this month we are on pace to hit our funding goal before the end of the month as well. Basically, Torba still does not know what a CAPTCHA is, and they are cracking down on bots and spam by blocking traffic from "about a dozen foreign countries."
