During college, Kayla lived in subsidized housing. Nick lived in the dorms nearly the entire time. During part of their last year in college and during perhaps part of the summer following, they lived in that subsidized housing together.

I would never buy a Panerai for that reason, reps are almost identical to the real ones. Rolex reps are also almost identical, the differences are things you have to find with microscopes. Keep in mind though the really good reps are still close to $1000.

Plenty of high end brands without a lot of fakes though, just have to go with smaller ones like Glashutte Original or something. Grand Seiko doesn't have a lot of fakes yet either I think.

I think the evidence is really stacking up (his tastes, things he says). Now it's not quite up to Vito's evidence pile yet, because short of catching someone in the act, it doesn't get any better than somebody outright telling you they are one and want to do it, but Nick is really starting to look suspect. I will still maintain that he secretly is one. Again, the burden is on him to prove anything at this point, so the evidence seems to imply he is one, therefore, he is one. From my reading of the will, the grandmother didn't have a lot of say in most of the grandfather's estate.

There appear to be trusts made for her benefit (and potentially, to a lesser extent, the rest of the family - this is the family trust section which Nick addressed directly) but once she died, they were directly willed in equal shares to the children. The exception would be any personal property like their home and in particular the Petrofac stock they still owned as of 2016 (but it is my belief that that probably would be mostly sold or given away by then).

My guess is that Nick was bitter because he wanted his money NOW NOW NOW.

Nick's mother has 2 brothers. After her parents' death based on his will it looks like the bulk must have gone to various trusts in their names. Nick has one sister but based on his grandfathers' will it appears correct that he could not have received much directly and any money he has received as of yet must have gone through his parents first. My guess would be that his mother inherited tens of millions worth and Nick is probably in line to eventually do the same.

I thinking it's not so much that Nick never endured some hardship. It's just that he didn't lean anything from it. That suggests to me his problem is more nature than nurture.

A lot of it is probably a bizarre victim narrative he has created in his head. Does anyone remember when nick did a watch party about a movie he said he has already watched before and it's about some prostitute? He was fairly excited about it when he saw it was available on watch party. The movie is fairly old and set around the time there were nobles and stuff. I think the movie was french and dubbed into english and had lots of nudity in it (it involved a whore house with orgies).
