To say he's always been a rabid leftist just isn't true. TJ used to be a vocal anti-SJW and was extremely critical of identity politics and feminism things that will get you excommunicated in actual rabid leftist communities. I think he was only critical of feminism because he was deeply misogynistic. Even if he doesn't really want to admit to it. He's misogynistic in the sense that Keffals is where he thinks the tranny is the greatest thing ever because it's a man with a woman's shape. And when he saw women tell him he couldn't say certain things because it was offensive to women he thought it was ridiculous. But when he sees trannies say he can't say things because it offends men in dresses he salutes them.
This is also true TJ has never been absolutely consistent when it comes to politics. Like even in his earliest video he talked about being a libertarian and now he's an outright dyed in the wool socialist. Which is certainly funny as in his behavior according to people who have worked with him he behaved entirely like a capitalist.
TJ has always been pretty open about being an opportunist who will hop on any bandwagon and take any side if he thinks it will get him views and money. If that meant criticizing feminism and SJWs, he would criticize feminism and SJWs. If it meant hopping on the tranny train, he would hop on the tranny train. He has no guiding principles or moral values of his own other than whatever benefits him in the current moment. He's an attentionwhore, a narcissist, a sociopath, and a fraudster. I talked about it in a post here but he's like a chameleon. He'll change his colors to fit in with whatever is hip and trendy at the moment if he thinks it will get him views.
