Has Mike always played pop music on the show? I really can't stand it. I've only been watching live since the return from the one year break but it seems like the amount of pop music talk and pop music being played in the breaks has increased since then (ex. taylor swift, olivia roderigo).

At this point it feels like most of the segments on the show are Jules' idea except for the little idiosyncratic stuff that Mike is really into like judging the quality of merch. Like the bad friends segment about them trying to hit on Bobbi Altoff. That was very clearly something Jules brought to the show. There was no funny or humiliating angle, it was just "look at how uncomfortable they are making her!" Another one that comes to mind but was kind of a while ago was when they talked about Joe Rogan talking about the trans litter boxes in a public school. The whole thing was "Joe is talking about this fake right wing story that's been deboonked!" and it happened to be what every freakish leftist was talking about on twitter that week thinking it was a dunk on right wingers that they believed it. It wasn't funny, it was just basically a "fact check".
