Not someone I work with but someone I interact with almost every day through my work has a crippling gambling addiction. He tells me stories all the time about how he's blown most of his paycheck on tables at casinos, slots, scratch tickets, or sports book apps and will need to eat ramen and balogna sammiches til payday comes.
